Not suitable for sensitive skin

I started out liking the product for its moisturizing effects but that was very early on, but within a month of using it, I started to get irritation where I was putting the cream and only after I stopped using it, did the redness disappear. So no I don't recommend this product. This is the only The Ordinary product I've used that caused redness.

lo utilizzo da luglio circa, in combo con l'acido Niacinamide 10% Zinc 1%, e mi trovo davvero bene. Prodotto validissimo, riduce i rossori e lascia la pelle purificata, luminosa e liscia.

Je ne suis pas du tout satisfaite du produit ! On dirait du sable. J'en prélève pourtant en petite quantité mais la sensation est très désagréable.

Sandpaper exfoliation

I bought this in the summer. I was hoping for an amazing product as the reviews were great. However, the grittiness is just too much. Feels like sandpaper on my skin. I think that is probably why everyone’s skin is “glowing” after using it. The top layer of skin is being rubbed off. I don’t like physical exfoliation on my skin. It is not good for you. It damages it. I will probably just use it on my arms or legs to use it up. Won’t be buying it again unfortunately

I wanted to like this product soooo bad 😩

Overall: I wanted to like this product sooooo bad. I tried to trust the process because I really wanted to clear my skin up. Burning: the packaging said it would have a tingling sensation but it just straight up burns. I have spots on my cheeks that are so dry that is seems to be chemically burned from the product. Even when diluting it with other products is still Burns. The burning does subside after a while as long as you don't touch it, and I am not kidding, it will still burn 30 minutes or so later it touched. Texture: the packaging also said that the product will be granulated but it feels very gritty and greasy. Those two sensations on top of the burning makes application very unpleasant. Absorption: this product does not absorb well into the skin instead of moisturizing it feels greasy the granules do not dissolve and they just kind of sit on top of the skin. Mixing it with other products makes it flaky. So without it absorbing I'm not sure how beneficial the product actually is. Final thoughts 💭: like I said I really wanted to like this product and I definitely try to trust the process this is not wanting done thing I used it for over 2 weeks. With all of that said I do not think that I will continue use nor will I ever purchase it again.

Avoid

Would not recommend. It’s really greasy, regardless of how little you use. My face is still stinging and has gone red within a few days of using it. Won’t be continuing use

My holy grail

I've been buying this Vit C for YEARS, and I love it more with time. It brightens my face like no other Vitamin C product in the market, and I've gotten tons of compliments and requests for recommendations. Pls never discontinue this!!!

great product for great skin

Love this product! it evens out, brightens my skin tone while helping with the overall texture. I don't apply to my skincare routine if I know I will be outside in the sun.

I used this on my forearms as well. I have a lot of sun damage on them and it improved the appearance of the skin! It does what it says :)
