Probably best for areas other than face

Prior to using this mask I read the ingredients and it seemed perfect for my face. However, this is a very potent mask and it started to tingle within a few minutes. When I washed it off my face was bright red and I am a dark skinned woman. off

I received the sample one and use it. After I applied it, it’s feels like my face is starting to burning so I wash them off. I think it’s on my face for lessthan 2 mins. And I like the result. I think if you put it too long it will irritate your skin.

Amazing for my dry skin

For my skin type, this product really works! I've been using it for over a year and it's my favourite exfoliator. I have VERY dry skin. This exfoliator will remove your dead skin, which was exactly what I needed. My pores are non-existent afterwards and my moisturizer is way more effective with that layer of dead skin removed. Like other commenters, I also saw redness after exfoliating (rubbing my skin with the exfoliator), but in my case, it was similar to running my gua sha repeatedly over my skin. It was stimulating blood flow and the redness subsided not long after. I use this product as needed, roughly once a week to every two weeks. Whenever my skin is looking dull. I highly recommend if you have dry skin and you need something strong to remove it. Just make sure to moisturize very well afterwards to protect your skin!

I’ve bought this mask multiple times and it’s truly exceptional. I use it only in the shower, because it can get messy when rinsing at the sink. A little goes a long way. Yes, it tingles and my skin does get red right after, but by the time I finish my skincare routine and blow-dry my hair, the redness is gone and I’m left with an incredible glow. I haven’t found anything else that gives me this kind of result. The closest comparison for me is the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. The texture is similar, but it doesn’t give the same glow from the inside out that this one does. After using this, foundation looks flawless, and most of the time I just wear a tinted sunscreen — sun protection is not negotiable with this. My skin looks glowy and healthy every time. If you’re not running out the door immediately, the short-term redness is absolutely worth it for the long-term results.
