Best Gentle Cleanser

Fantastic cleanser. I have combination skin and get very bad seborrheic dermatitis, so I try keep everything I use very gentle. This cleanser is perfect for this. Very gentle on the skin and provides a great clean. The results are great and very noticeable. Since starting this cleanser I have no had a single breakout, my pores look amazing and my skin has a lovely smooth clean appearance.

I've been using both this and the Squalene cleansers alternatively for a while when washing my face and love the way in which they cleanse the skin and the moisturised feeling afterwards. My skincare regime is either side of the day and on one side of the day I usually shower / bath so use these then. Whilst both are wash off cream cleansers, on the other side of the day, I use wipe / tissue off cream cleansers followed by the rest of the skincare regimes. I am unable to find the latter type of cleanser from The Ordinary, so have to buy another brand which irks me somewhat.

The texture is very lightweight and slightly runny, and when you apply it, it gives a soft, gentle foam — not too much, but just enough to cleanse your skin properly. What I love the most is how non-stripping it feels. After washing my face, my skin feels clean, fresh, and soft… not tight or dry at all. It’s perfect for everyday use, especially if your skin is sensitive or easily irritated. It removes dirt, oil, and light makeup really well while still protecting the skin barrier, which is honestly the biggest win. With consistent use, I also noticed my skin looks a bit more clear and smooth, and it just gives that healthy, natural glow over time.

Not super foamy, but still effective!

Gifted by The Ordinary My preferred facial cleansers are those that foam, so I was super excited to try this out! Unfortunately, it didn't lather as much as my other favorites do, but it still did some. However, even without the desired texture, my skin felt clean, didn't feel stripped, and my eyes weren't irritated. I'll gladly use it up, but likely won't repurchase with my own money.

Perfect for oily skin

I love the way that these cleanser feels. It never makes my face feel tight and leaves my skin feeling super clean. I have a couple sensitive areas on my face and this never irritated them. It has a gentle lather but i loved how it wasn't too much. I have very oily skin and this was just perfect for me. I will purchase again. gifted by The Ordinary

It feels super lightweight and gentle on the skin however doesn’t foam up too aggressively, but still leaves your face feeling clean and fresh. It’s especially nice if you don’t like that tight, stripped feeling some cleansers give. It removes everyday dirt and oil. gifted by theordinary

Excellent

I absolutely adore this cleanser I was gifted by theordinary to try! I have oily acne prone skin with large pores and I have already noticed a massive difference in my skin for the better. I have much less oil and acne. It also doesn’t make anything change with my makeup application my texture etc is the same which I love.

Wow it’s great

he texture is more of a light gel that turns into a soft foam not super bubbly like other cleansers, which I actually like because it feels gentler on the skin. It does a good job at removing dirt, oil, and leftover residue without making my face feel stripped or tight. It’s designed to cleanse while still protecting your skin barrier, which is a big plus.  #gifted by theordinary

Does the job!

This is a nice cleanser for the price! It’s gentle to use everyday and doesn’t dry out my skin! My skin feels clean after using. Sometimes I just need a product that gets the job done and is inexpensive. gifted by theordinary.

Staple

This face was by the ordinary has officially become a staple in my skincare routine. My skin has never been so smooth, moisturized, and nourished. I noticed a difference after 1 use and since then within a week my skin’s overall texture, radiance, and barrier is beyond amazing! It’s so gentle, but yet effective.
