Perfect Cleanser For Dry Skin!

As someone with dry skin, I’m constantly looking for hydrating skincare products. A hydrating facial cleanser can sometimes be hard to find, so I was very pleasantly surprised by The Ordinary Glycolipid Cream Cleanser! This is a very gentle, cream facial cleanser that is thick, hydrating, and has the consistency of a moisturizing lotion. I use this on dry skin followed by a warm water rinse to cleanse my face in the morning and evening since it’s very gentle and nourishing on the skin. It doesn’t foam up, but it still definitely gets my face cleansed of leftover makeup and oils without stripping my natural barrier. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for an ultra gentle facial cleanser for dry skin! Gifted by The Ordinary.

Great cleanser

Gifted by The Ordinary. The Ordinary Glycolipid Cream Cleanser is one of those formulas that feels simple, but works really well. It melts down makeup, like foundation, eyeliner, and even mascara, without that tight, stripped feeling after. I like that it doesn’t foam or over-cleanse. It uses a plant-derived glycolipid to break everything down while still keeping your skin feeling hydrated and balanced. My skin is dry, so I’m really picky with cleansers, and this one just leaves everything feeling soft, clean, and comfortable.

Gentle cleanser

gifted by theordinary, I’m not obsessed with this cleanser but it’s pretty good. It’s gentle on my skin but the scent isn’t my favorite. I’ll keep trying it for awhile before I decide to purchase again or not.

After rinsing, my skin feels comfortable, hydrated, and not at all irritated, which is super important to me because I don't like harsh cleansers.

Does dry my skin out!

My sister had been raving about this face wash for a while and I had been meaning to try it - and now that I have, I wish I would have done so sooner! It feels luxurious when lathered up and washes away with no residue leftover. It leaves my face feeling clean without feeling stripped or dried. I did find that I have to alternate it with a different face wash each day because exclusively using this one seemed to facilitate a few blemishes popping up, but maybe that it something that will resolve itself in time once my body chemistry gets used to this cleanser. The Ordinary Glycolipid Cream Cleanser does a decent job of keeping the skin clean. It’s gentle and doesn’t strip away moisture, which I appreciate.
