Excellend but tricky to start with

hmm, have to admit that didnt understand how to use it at the beggining. Product must be massaged into the sking long enough to change from cream into oil. But when it changes omg that is when magic happens. Cleanses so good, as never any product before. washing off, well that you must learn too, clue is to use right ammont of cleanser so it cleans vell and wash off completly. Overall great product , cleansing and moisturising the same time

Packaging issue

First time buyer here and I've been using the product for 4 days now. So far I love it and feels great on my skin. However, I receive barely any product in the packaging. Instead of 50ml it seems that I only receive roughly 20ml. I'm not sure if other customers are facing the same issue. I just feel disappointed as it feels like they've mislead me. If I'm purchasing a 50ml product, I expect to receive 50ml product. Anyway, first photo and second photo are 4 days apart.

Gentle and non-drying

I really love this cleanser. I find it doesn't dry my skin out and I've now bought it many times over. In recent times I've been suffering with pustular rosacea and I have found this helpful in keeping it at bay without exacerbating my skin. I also really like the smell - not perfumed, (I'm sensitive to many perfumes), but almost like fresh bread.

Product changed causing severe reaction

I've been using this brand and cleanser for a couple of years. I have very sensitive skin, especially on my face and neck to topical products. I have loved this cleanser but recently I think a formula has changed without notification and I have been waking up with swollen eyes and itchy red and patchy skin. I didn't want to believe it was this cleanser since I have been using it for a while. But I can't find out anything else I could be reacting to only on my face last night when using it after I rinsed it was almost immediate swelling and redness. I am going to see a doctor to confirm and if I am now allergic to this product I am going to be very disappointed as I just made a new order and began using after running out of my last order. It has been the only thing that has worked for me and now I don't know what I can use. I love this brand but a product change from something amazing to cause such severe reaction is really disappointing. I hope The Ordinary can look into this and make changes back to the original or remove whatever is causing reactions, because going through other reviews I see that there is an influx of recent allergic reactions to this product, which is supposed to be their most gentle cleanser highly recommended by dermatologist.

Great face wash

I have very sensitive combination of oily and very dry skin this face wash has helped to repair my skin barrier and has brought some life back into my face I would re purchase again. I also go gym and this definitely helps clean my face after sweating.

My new favorite oil cleanser

a very nice cream to oil formula, great texture, easy to remove and doesn’t leave an oily residue or cloud my eyes. it removes makeup and sunscreen while being gentle, leaves my skin feeling clean!

Must-have to remove the sunscreen
