This has been my go to for a cleanser, I love the process of rubbing it between my hands to get it activated and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry after I wash it off, plus it’s a great price for the size!

instant relief

I am 27 y.o., and have had horrible acne for various reason for about 8 years. I was using an antibacterial cream nightly along with a scrub from Lush, lots of lotions, creams and oils which worked for about 4 years until recently... currently going through the very real mid-twenties 2nd puberty. I developed peri-oral dermatitis from stripping my skins barrier AND my acne was coming back with a vengeance. Nothing was working anymore until I stopped everything and started using this cleanser. I use this every night with The Ordinary's azelaic acid and noticed an immediate change in my skin. No purging, no adjustment, just calming, gentle relief. Never would have imagined I would not have to be using dermatologist prescribed creams. I had to use this combo through two menstrual cycles to see if it was the real deal, and I can gladly report it even toned down my monthly breakouts. Love these products, love the Ordinary. You have a customer for life.

I really don't like this cleanser. It leaves an oily film and doesn't leave my skin feeling clean.

I don’t feel as though this product helped to remove makeup, even with a second wash. I’m still left with residual makeup when toning afterward. Not a fan.

Amazing!! I use this (oil based) with a water based cleanser to double cleanse and it's genuinely whats got rid of the bumpy texture on my skin. Super good value as well.

Gentle and effective

I've been using it for the past 2 years and I love it. It removes my makeup really easily and gently cleanses my skin. I have normal skin, a slightly oiler t-zone and it works great, even though it's recommended for dry skin.

just as it should be

honestly good cleanser, I used it for a month together with niacamid and zinc serum and natural HA cream complex, at the end of the month I just cried. because after tons of years of very expensive cosmetic, this complex I saw the REAL results. my skin was much smoother then before, post acne scars less visible, and I am getting comlements from close friends and husband. they ask what I changed.

The cleanser that doesn’t clean

I thought it was absolute rubbish. A cleanser with no cleansing qualities, using this feels like slathering cheap cream on your face and hoping it will get clean. It doesn’t, it just leaves an unpleasant residue and makes it impossible for toners and serums to properly penetrate the skin. A complete waste of money and time.
