Super Duper Squalane

Greasy

Why does The Ordinary continue to market this product as non greasy?! The reviews show that for many people it is actually greasy! There is something wrong here hence the one star.

I’ve been using it for years, serum and face cleanser. They are one of my favorite Ordinary products. They leave my skin so smooth and soft.

Game changer!

I’ve used this 2-3 times a week for 2 years and it has been amazing! No dry skin, no clogged pores, no crazy sticker price and no crazy ingredient list. My skin has never looked so hydrated. Especially great during the winter.

Many Uses!

I use this mixed with a few drops of hyaluronic acid as an after-shower moisturizer on my skin before I towel dry. It's excellent as a year-round moisturizer. Can also be used for removing last bits of makeup from around the eyes.

Using it for years

I swear by squalane oil to add as a top layer over my moisturiser. This stuff is perfect for extra moisture that's light and not too occlusive. I definitely use more in winter than summer, but I use it all year round.

Love this product

My skin has always been very sensitive and reacts poorly to a lot of Beauty/skin products. CeraVe was the only moisturizer that didn’t seem because my skin to break out more. I started taking Accutane a month ago for cystic acne. About 2 1/2 weeks ago, the skin around my nose, mouth, chin and neck area started to get extremely dry and started to peel. Even CeraVe moisturizer Would cause a stinging sensation when I put on my face and neck. After a week of wanting to hide in my home because of how embarrassed I was that, I literally look like a snake, shedding it skin, And my face being extremely sore I started using the100% Plant-Derived Squalene. I’m so happy I have this product!! After a few days of using it, my face didn’t feel so raw and Sore. The product helped speed up the cell turnover process. I also found that if I put this on my face, before applying the CeraVe cream, I didn’t have any stinging or redness due to irritation. I use the serum on my entire face, Neck and even the tops of my hands because they have started to get extremely dry. It’s a great moisturizer, even for around your eyes for your crows feet. I have tried the Niacinamide serum which I love, and am now in love with the Squalene serum too! Because my skin is so sensitive I haven’t tried any of the facial moisturizers by The Ordinary yet. But will have to review their products and see about adding that to my beauty regimen too!! This serum made such a difference for me. My dermatologist had been the one that recommended I use CeraVe because of how sensitive my skin is and how dry it could get even prior to Accutane. The Squalene serum has made such a difference that I let my Dermatologist know about this product from The Ordinary.
