I would describe the scent as earthy (in a good way) with strong mineral notes. I am very sensitive to perfumes/colognes and can get an instant headache from some of them. This cologne is not over powering and will not offend anyone. Perfect for office or date night. Can be used year round. You can't go wrong with this fragrance. I would go as far as saying you could blind buy this safely.

Every time he wears it I feel like I’m smelling a 50 year old, and his only on his 30s. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s too earthy. He likes it and that’s what matters.

The smell.... my girlfriend says I smell like middle age, successful businessman. So I would not strongly recommend this fragrance if you are a student just like me, but it does smell classy and "successful", overall, a great fragrance!
