Good packaging

I bought this product last week and im very disappointed after 2 days of using it i got breakouts😢, i didnt expect it for im a avid fan of the ordinary products like niacinamide and the toner but this sunscreen my first time to try it made me sick😢😢

Very greasy

Super greasy! I love all my other products from The Ordinary but this one is a big disappointment. I would also prefer a moisturizer ands sunscreen combo for daytime use instead of using two separate products.

Heavy cream Not a serum

UV Filters SPF 45 Serum- I have used this product once and was seriously disappointed. This product is not a serum it is a heavy liquid cream. It does not apply easily due to its thickness and texture and it is also very sticky. It felt heavy on my face and even with a primer my liquid foundation did not apply easily. It is not lightweight. I would like to return however the hassle and cost of returning is not worth the effort.

carefully before purchasing

I bought this SPF in July and used it for the first time a few days ago, after I ran out of my current SPF cream (from a different brand). After using this product, I developed a rash on my forehead, under my eyes, and on my cheeks—lumps, redness, and itching. I do not recommend this product.

Caused a rash

I’m a skincare lover, have worked in the industry before and also have used many of the ordinary’s products before. After using this product, I now have a rash that covers all of my neck and most of my face, and I have never had a reaction before to any skincare product I have tried. Please swatch before you try! Or just don’t buy it as so many people have had similar reactions

WORST REACTION EVER

First time trying The Ordinary products and within hours of use my face was inflamed and burning. I immediately stopped using and not my entire face is scaly and burns to the touch and without touching. I would avoid this product at all costs. My face feels ruined and it seems like the one star reviewers are paying the same thing.

Read before buying!!!

I started to rash and almost immediately after applying it started to burn, I was wondering why out of nowhere that I started to have this red, bumpy rash all under my eyes and just randomly on my face, so I tried to do my skin care step-by-step and I could you not as soon as I put on the sunscreen, my skin started to burn. Do not buy this. this has never happened to me with a ordinary product and my entire skin care routine consists of ordinary products.

Burnt skin, not enough protection

I actually don’t mind the consistency of this product, but the few times I have worn it this summer my face has actually burnt in the sun. It does not provide the same protection as a proper sun cream, users beware

Terrible product, do not buy

I bought this with high hopes but the formula is awful. I have combination skin, this serum is too thick and oily, it leaves a white greyish cast and it can't be used on the face. I used it on my body to not let it go to waste and it's equally terrible to put on the beach and leaves you sticky and with a weird grey colour. Not worth the money at all

Gracias The Ordinary por obsequiarme este producto, me gusta mucho, mi piel es grasa , y me ha ido bien porque despues de absorberse me deja un buen acabado, donde no quedo grasa , ni brillosa.

Terrible reaction on my non-sensitive skin

I bought this product 3 months ago, I’m an avid spf user and I’ve never had sensitive skin but had introduced a retinol so thought that was causing me issues.. I’ve eliminated the retinol and taken a break from using this spf and used it by accident earlier this week- all the skin around my chin, jaw, cheeks has little pustules and my skin is peeling. Ive never dealt with anything like this and my eyeballs are on fire when i apply moisturiser. Be careful using this!

skin treat

This spf goes beyond the norm, when I first used it I thought its too greasy , but it sinks in nicely plus I use Australian gold tinted a mineral spf on top and it absorbs any extra. I have to say my skin at the end of the day feels so soft and moisturised this is new to me with spf's I really love it
