Not even a serum

I was expecting it to be like serum. It’s literally a very greasy cream. I am a big fan of niacinamide. But a big NO to this UV serum, which is not. It makes my skin so oily and causes breakouts. I should have read the reviews first. My bad

So, so good!

I am an SPF obsessed person, I have used so many! This is great, it seems a bit greasy when applied but actually absorbs so well afterwards leaving your face just glowing. I wore it daily on a recent trip to Malaysia and it did a great job!

Caused my non reactive skin to get very angry/dry

Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing! It seems lots of people had the same issue as me. I used this for 2 days before my skin - which has genuinely never reacted to a product before - broke out in tiny sore bumps. I stopped using this and it’s started clearing up. My skin still feels like sand and is still quite sensitive. Love the Ordinary products but this one is a no go for me from now on.

A fantastic serum

I have been using this product for 4 months and it’s the best . It keeps my skin hydrated, protected and glowing all day.

Great for sensitive skin!

Loved it! This is one of the only sunscreens I'm not allergic to and I am highly allergic to many different emulsifiers. Recommend to all of my sensitive skin friends out there!

Too heavy on skin

I can't comment on the protection side of it, but it doesn't feel good on the skin - not light at all! Not easy to apply either, and the skin feels sticky on touch. Shame, but it seems like another miss on the UV range from The Ordinary.

Do not recommend

I had heard good things about this sunscreen and did research before purchasing to try and ensure it was acne safe. I understand that every individual’s skin will react differently to certain products/ingredients however this sunscreen caused me to break out and my skin became very red and inflamed along with some slightly peeling of the skin on my cheeks. I can understand the break out like previously stated not all products are suitable for everyone but the redness and peeling is something I have never experienced before from any skincare products. I also found the consistency of the product to be very oily. I’m quite disappointed, I had high hopes for this product and have used other products by the ordinary before but I will not be purchasing this again and will not be using the rest of the product.

VERY OILY FORMULA, CAUSES SKIN TO BREAK OUT.

I brought this sunscreen only because I’ve been using all their serums, moisturisers and exfoliators which I absolutely love. But this sunscreen just didn’t match my expectations. The formula is so runny and tacky and it feels so oily and heavy on skin. It caused my skin to break out severely and made my eyes burn even though I was pretty careful while applying. I let my skin heal for a week and gave it another try, but it irritated my skin yet again. So disappointed in this product from this brand.

Bad Reaction

I recently purchased this product and after only 2 uses I noticed my skin have a reaction with tiny bumps all over my face. I don’t typically have sensitive skin and have never had a reaction to a product before so I’m not sure if I’m allergic or the product itself is too harsh, but I would not recommend.

Unfortunately not for me. Broke me out terribly

I don't have sensitive skin and I almost never have any reaction to new skincare. But this gave me the worst, most painful and stubborn breakout I have ever had. Also, the formula is not that great, it is liquidy, but still quite thick and doesn't sink into the skin very well and leaves a greasy-looking film for a couple of hours. Compared to some of my fave Korean sunscreens it really doesn't perform very well. I usually love The Ordinary products and was excited for this one but unfortunately it's not for me.
