This shampoo says it’s purple but it’s got a faint very faint hint of color in either the shampoo or conditioner, (you have to use both), and wow does it work on both problems. I’m a stylist, I use it myself, prefer it to all pro toners if I see something small I don’t like. (Picky) unlike other shu products a little does not go a long way on the conditioner, but you probably only use it a time or two for any color you want to tone a little.

The shampoo itself is clear, not purple, so I don’t think it has any toning properties like the anti-brass conditioning mask.
