This is an ok product

This is an ok product for me. I have naturally thick hair that tends to frizz (wavy hair) and this shampoo works a little bit but not worth for the price. I tried the Amika one too that is way better in my opinion.

I am seeing a lot of mixed reviews and I believe it worked really well for my hair which is 1B-1C Indian hair. The shampoo works alright I usually pair it with a L’Oréal shampoo that works for my oily scalp and the gloss conditioner really hydrates my hair well. My hair looks glossy and really soft. I recommend if you have oily scalp and dry hair just make sure to follow up with conditioner. I like the smell!

I switch between Genesis strengthening shampoo and the Gloss Absolu. I find Genesis works to make my hair stronger and healthy, but DRY. I add in the Gloss Absolu to help give my hair that effortless shine. The scent is strong, but I really like it and get compliments on how nice my hair smells.

Disappointing

I had high hopes for this shampoo. I’m now in my 70s, and my long, fine hair has become more frizzy. Conditioners help, of course, but I expected extra help from this shampoo that claims to control frizz and provide gloss. It didn’t perform at all on my hair in these ways. I had the same result as a shampoo off the grocery store shelf. The scent is lovely—not too strong. But otherwise, I cannot recommend this product.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] this shampoo is fine, but it needs to be followed up with the conditioner. i don't feel like it works well for color treated hair. it also just didn't feel as clean as i'd like
