Beautiful scent, but fades quickly

The packaging for Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Intense is absolutely adorable. It comes in this super cute suede box that makes it feel really special and luxe. The scent itself is beautiful, very bold and sweet without being overpowering. I loved it when I first sprayed it on, but I did notice it didn’t last as long as I hoped. I found myself needing to reapply throughout the day. Overall, I’d say it’s a gorgeous fragrance with stunning presentation, but I just wish the longevity matched the intensity of the scent.

A great scent for day or night!

I was pleasantly surprised by this scent! It is a great scent that can go from day to evening. It dries down nicely and I can definitely smell the vanilla notes which I love. The bottle feels nice and has a good weight to it. I would definitely recommend this scent!

Gourmand meets floral - smells like a perfect date

I love this fragrance! I’m usually picky with floral scents but when I wear this I get just the right combination of sweet vanilla and a rosey finish which is very intoxicating! On me it’s like gourmand meets floral which was surprisingly appealing to me. It’s definitely an upscale vibe, I love it for evening. It lasts well directly on and though the intensity dissipates the scent remains. On clothes and hair the intensity lasts a lot longer so you can choose wear to spray.

Alluring Floral-Vanilla Fragrance

The fuzzy box felt nice to the touch and the shape/colour of the bottle was chic, beautiful, and easy to use. It's not too overpowering of a perfume, which I prefer and the dry-down smells amazing! Like a vanilla with some yellow-floral depth to it. A go-to for the fall.

Sultry sophisticated floral vanilla in a bottle

I was lucky to be offered a chance to try Jean Paul Gautier Scandal Intense 30mL. The packaging is eye catching particularly the larger bottle sizes, unfortunately the 30mL size does not include the same topper as larger sizes. However, as for the scent it makes me feel sultry from the moment I spray it on; like I should be sitting at a fancy bar in a long fur coat drinking a martini. It’s sophisticated featuring floral notes of ylang ylang as well as sweet gourmand vanilla. This fragrance is also labelled as Intense and I truly believe it lives up to its name - the scent is enveloping and one spray truly goes far! The projection on me lasted around 6 hours which truly is amazing in my opinion as fragrances don’t tend to last on my body. If you are a lover of florals and gourmands this is a MUST TRY!!

Amazing perfume

Smells amazing, versatile and timeless.

This perfume smells amazing! I thought it would be very strong, but it’s actually not, and that’s perfect because I usually prefer strong fragrances for winter. This one, however, can be worn both in winter and summer. The scent is woody with a light touch of vanilla – really a fragrance that can appeal to everyone. Its longevity is quite good; it will easily last all day. It also evolves beautifully over time; I actually like it even more after about an hour of wear. It feels like it adapts to the skin and smells even better.

Beautiful Packaging, Truly Intense

The packaging on this perfume is stunning — the box has a suede-like feel, and the bottle is a gorgeous statement piece for any dresser. The fragrance is truly intense, just as the box promises. It fills the room instantly and lasts all day without fading. While I found it a bit overpowering for my personal taste, if you love bold, long-lasting scents that make a statement, this one will not disappoint.

An aroma you’ve never had.

I usually enjoy simple scents when it comes to perfume. I tend to love sweet, light, fruity scents or warm coconut/vanilla vibes. This one surprised me, it opens with soft florals and a hint of warm spice, which I didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I do. True to its name, it is definitely intense, but in a good way. I’m really enjoying these new aromatics. Well done, Jean Paul Gaultier!

OH MY GOODNESS.

I usually go for warmer/sweeter fragrances for the fall and winter and this one fit the bill! The second I put it on it seemed a little stronger/floral but in just a few mins the spicier, vanilla and gourmand notes started to really come through. It wears well. I could smell it at the end of the day on both my skin and clothing. I already own Jean Paul Gautier Divine and that one is not as intense nor does it have the beautiful vanilla after notes. Huge fan!!

Recommended perfume

Such an amazing long lasting perfume. This is my go to for date night. It lasts all night and I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. The bottle is beautiful as well! 10/10 recommend

One thing I’m going to say before I continue with this review is, I’m disappointed that they did not send a full size bottle. They sent a full size bottle before and they should’ve now. The versatility is good. The sent strength is amazing. It is valued for your money. The packaging is really cute. It’s my favourite colour. The projection is amazing.
