It’s OK?

It’s ok. I don’t get the hype, and I’m only giving it three stars because I liked the color. It’s far too gloopy and clumpy, plus it flakes a little. It is a really great carbon black color, though.

Don't Get the Hype

I don't get the hype. For reference, my preferred mascara is L'Oreal Lash Paradise. I was looking for an alternative just for fun. Apart from lengthening and darkening my lashes, this did NOT hold any curl and made my lashed stick straight. I could not achieve the wispy look on the models advertising this mascara; I tried using only one coat then curling, multiple coats, letting it dry between coats, etc. Nothing seemed to work. It also smudged and never seemed to "set" by drying down. The dealbreaker for me was that it BURNED my eyes toward the end of the day. I do not have particularly sensitive eyes - I've never experienced this before - but any amount of tears or sweat combined with this and it immediately ran into my eyes.

Meilleur mascara. J’ai les cils courts, pâles et clairsemés. Les gens pensent que je porte des extensions. J’ai vraiment beaucoup de compliments. Je n’achèterai plus jamais autre chose!

Presque parfait

J’aime le rendu sur les cils qui deviennent plus longs et bien dessinés, Je dirais que le seul bémol c’est qu’il est difficile à enlever sans huile et qu’il colle vraiment bien sur les cils ! Mais je le recommande quand même

NOT for Sensitive Skin

I tried this mascara for the first time and didn’t love it. It wasn’t horrible but I could only do three brush strokes before it got super clumpy. It was also super hard to get off. I used it for a few days then my eyelids started to get dry and sore. After a week my eyelids were peeling, raw, and very painful. I stopped using it and after about three days of discontinued use, my skin went back to normal. I would not recommend this mascara to anyone with sensitive skin.

I always return to this one

I’m not sure why I constantly feel the need to try other mascaras when I always return to this one. It doesn’t flake, it stays put all day long. (I do use 2 coats, out of preference.) I feel that the brush allows me to get very close to the lash line and it makes my lashes look longer, thicker, and more voluminous.

I love love love this mascara, it really does wonders with my eyelashes!! This is my second purchase and one of my favorite

As a girl who doesn’t normally do black mascara, this is fire! Super luscious, stayed on well throughout the day.
