I like the feel of

I like the feel of the serum lipstick. I have always struggled with lip color being too bright or too dark for my taste but after reaching out to RMS, I was given a tip to just press it on for a softer wash of color when the color seems too bright for me.

Fantastic lip formula!!

The trio set is a great way to try several shades. The sensation when applying is very moisturizing and cool. The shades are very pigmented, moisturizing and lasts a long time. They wear off nicely and leave a beautiful stain. I have lined lips and these smooth out texture and do not bleed into lines.

LOVE stain for daughters' dance recital

I ordered this particular lip stick/stain/serum because I have 2 young girls who are required to wear red lipstick for their dance recital every year. We are "toxin aware" and have worked to reduce the use of harmful chemicals in our household, so I do NOT feel comfortable smearing their lips with drugstore red lipstick (even when it is only once a year). I was so excited to find this option in Ruby Moon, and the fact that is has the stain is sooo helpful as the girls wear through lip color faster than an adult. I also got the Pavla Red lip liner and we tested the longevity on the girls - one girl wore only lip liner (to color her whole lip) and one wore only serum/stain. They both had colored lips several hours later, and the stain kept a nice, even color! This will be GREAT for recital! Then, because the girls looked so cute with their bright red lips, I tried this for myself. I usually do not wear a bold lip, let alone red, because I feel it wears off unevenly, I don't like to worry about doing touch-ups throughout the day, and the right shade is hard to find (self-confidence stuff here). I have found myself using this stuff DAILY because I can swipe it on and forget about it for hours and it still looks great as it wears down. I am a big fan of the stain component! The Ruby Moon color was unexpectedly flattering on me, too. It seems to be a pretty universal shade. My girls are fair skinned with red hair. I am light peach-skinned with dark brown hair, and the Ruby Moon looks great on all of us.

High expectations but. . . . .

Bought 3 shades (Monica, Audrey and Naomi) as the colors really appealed to me. Wore Monica for an event that evening: first impression was the formula and how nicely hydrated by lips looked. However, big disappointment was the staying/lasting power. Once I ate/drank, the lipstick appeared to be coming off and it was highly noticeable (had to wipe off the entire thing). I will keep this one as I used it but the other two will be going back. Really wanted this to perform as I've heard from two influencers but unfortunately it didn't perform the same for me.

Great lipstick 💄

I love the texture and the lasting color. It’s not drying or sticky. However, it is difficult to buy lipstick 💄 online. I have yet to fine the right shade for me😐 💋.

Not a hit

Sorry RoseMarie, I am a red lipstick lover, and I like many of your products but this was not a good red, it was a chalky flat clown orange red. More orange than red. I tried to like it , ended up throwing it away > it started crumbling.

Please never discontinue!!

Finally! Mickey replaces my holy grail lipstick (the Revlon wet stain) that got discontinued almost 10 years ago. I've never been able to find anything else I like but this is IT! The color, the consistency, the staying power. I'm buying many more shades. Please never discontinue!

It is the best lipstick

It is the best lipstick I have used in my lifetime! I am 72 and it is so moist and I don’t have to reapply often at all! I love Monica and Audrey❤️

Hydrating and Staying Power

I have so many lipsticks and lip glosses that I was hesitant to purchase this. I’m so glad I did. It stays on well, hydrates, and doesn’t crease in my lip lines.

Beautiful color and feels good

Beautiful color and feels good at first but my lips became dry (coming for me) and color didn’t last. Guess I’m neutral on the product.

Magic!

I purchased the color Miranda while it was on sale just to try the serum lipstick. I'm really impressed! It goes on so smooth, but dries matte. While it doesn't last forever (like the toxic lip stain I used to wear!), it does have some staying power, and I love the effortless bright pop of color.
