I’ve been using the genesis range for a year, after experiencing significant seasonal hair fall last autumn. It worked wonders at the time but now my hair is feeling really dry and frizzy, and cannot hold a style. I washed and dried without using this spray recently as I was having my hair put up for a wedding, and it did blow dry much easier, so I’m not sure if it’s the spray that’s contributing towards the dryness. It was out of stock for a while so I’m wondering if the formula has changed? Going to switch to a moisturising range for a while and hope that makes a difference! A shame, as I’ve recommended the range to lots of friends, but my hair is just so parched right now it needs a change!

Good lightweight protection but annoying nozzle

I like the Kérastase Genesis Défense Thermique. It feels really lightweight and doesn’t leave any residue, which I love. The only downside is the nozzle, it’s a bit awkward to use and makes it hard to spray evenly. Otherwise a good heat protectant.

Perfect for brittle hair

Makes my hair feel so soft and silky after use! The spray bottle can on occasion get stuck but for how good the product is it’s not really a problem for me! For reference I have been healing damaged and thinning hair that had a serious breakage problem however since using this my hair has been silky soft with minimal breakage

J'utilise ce produit depuis 3 mois, je l'adore. Il sent bon, c'est une véritable aide pour le démêlage des cheveux et il ne fait pas les cheveux gras. J'ai l'impression de perdre moins de cheveux, enfin j'en enlève moins de ma brosse.

I love to use this on my wet hair after washing. It detangles and leaves it super soft.

Heat protectors can be heavy and weight the hair down, but genesis defence detangle, provides some level of heat protection and remains light weight. Will buy again.

Did not disappoint

I usually have plentyyyy of fall out when blow dry my hair and with this product I didn’t notice any! Smells amazing and left my hair the most silky smooth it’s been in years. Will be repurchasing when I run out!

It’s good to use before straightener it prevents damage to your hair and the smell is incredible
