Dolce Rose - Eau de Toilette

A must have!

The best smell out of all the dolce gabbana if you love the smell of flowers this perfume is the best.

Got this as a sample before committing to a full size and oh boy I’m glad I did. It smells like kids shampoo to me at first but in the middle it has some interesting fruity notes yet I am not able to enjoy them because the scent is not lasting at all. Not my cup of tea at all

I love this perfume! My boyfriend got it for me for Valentines day. Floral scent! & I love the look/design of the bottle.

where’s the rose?

It’s not bad but it’s not what I expected. When I see rose in the name, I would expect that to be a prominent note. It just isn’t. I smell something floral and slightly sweet. It’s not a young sweet but kind of like a floral your grandma might wear. Also, am I the only one or does this smell like Burberry Blush to anyone?!?! They’re basically the same scent. I don’t like it. The names a little misleading and Ive loved most of the other Dolce scents.

Sweet and subtle.

Super sweet, rose candy scent. Not too strong but long lasting! Mixes well with my body chemistry.

Soapy rose

This opened quickly to a rose scent. The problem was that it was a soapy rose that just reminded me of "grandma's bathroom." Not bad, but certainly not sophisticated nor wortht he price tag.

good non-powdery floral

I have a really hard time with floral perfumes because I cannot do the powdery smell that always ends up on my skin after the first hour. On me (maybe not everyone), I don’t get a heavy powder scent on this at first spray or after dry-down, which is a win in my book. The bottle is sort of hideous, but I’ll hide it in the back of my collection because I really enjoy the scent lol.

It’s a NO for me

My purchase was a blind buy. I tried to love this fragrance, however it just didn’t grow on me. This is not a long lasting fragrance if you you are looking for one.

Where’s the Rose??

I like other dolce&gabbana perfumes and I love anything rose so I thought this would be a hit. With Covid, I took a chance buying fragrance online before smelling first. I’m a bit annoyed that almost all the reviews of this perfume are from people who received a complimentary sample so I didn’t completely trust them. When it arrived, I couldn’t really smell any rose and it was much stronger that I had hoped. I decided to wear it all day and see if it grew on me, but I just couldn’t detect any rose and the overwhelming scent never really subsided. Definitely a miss for me but happy that Sephora has a great return policy.

Dolce & Gabbana gifted me a sample of this, and I really like it! The bottle is adorable, and it smells so lovely. This is definitely a fragrance I will reach for very often. It also lasts a good amount of time (the smell, that is).
