Rated 5 di 5 di MaitaJoy da Gorgeous cologne! Essenza is another gorgeous scent from the Colonia line. It smells a little sweet, citrusy and flowery but in a masculine way. It also seems like the scent will last longer on his skin. I also bought hubby the Pura, Club, and Intensa so he can wear different scents depending on his mood and occasion. We love the Acqua di Parma Colonia line very much!

This was a bit of a complicated scent, a lot of notes to it that unravel over the course of the day. When he first put it on he smelled more citrus, but by about an hour later he leaned more towards smelling more fresh/musky (in a good way). The fragrance notes are: bergamot, lemon, mandarin, orange, grapefruit, petit grain, neroli, sage, rosemary, lily of the valley, rose accords, jasmine, patchouli, vetiver, white musk and amber. Longevity: long-lasting Scent Intensity: moderate

The drydown is different from Colonia and the patchouli, white musk, and amber you'll smell in the base makes it very interesting and enjoyable to wear.

The woods/citrus is beautiful, and has an awesome scent for the office. Not strong, but not weak. Clean, yet substantial. I've read reviews that this takes a sophisticated nose to appreciate, however I completely disagree. The Neroli is astounding, and very present, with a base of Vetiver/Moss. Buy it!

I was a bit worried as I wasn't able to smell the fragrance before I bought it, but I am very happy with this purchase. Colonia Essenza opens with a strong neroli, quite like Tom Ford Neroli Portofino, but quickly (within a couple of minutes) mellows into a lovely sunny, spring-like fragrance. The fruit and flower notes are elegantly balanced by the warm, soft base notes of amber and patchouli. This fragrance is sophisticated without being stodgy and fresh without being feminine. It's a unique enough fragrance for special occasions, yet affordable and light enough for daily wear.
