I walked in the store with one goal: to find a perfume that smells like old money meets a sophisticated CEO, and I found it in Jo Malone Velvet & Oud. It smells luxurious, sophisticated, and bold. You exude confidence wherever you go. The perfume is strong and lasts all day. You smell like you come from old money, but you’re the CEO of your own company. You’re important and you matter. The scent is such a rich floral scent, I highly recommend it. My husband wasn’t sure what I was talking about when I told him my goal, but when he smelled this perfume, he shook his head and immediately said he got it. It’s intoxicating.

This scent is absolutely amazing! It stays on all night and I get many compliments when wearing it! Has the perfect combination of Rose and Oud, and a little goes a long way!

when I tell you.. first sniff, i was thinking about it for awhile. wasn’t too sure about purchasing it bc most of the time jo molone doesn’t last on me personally BUT I finally impulsively bought it one day to see how it wears and WOW am I obsessed. this is the perfect rose seductive oud scent!! i go to town with this lol and i get compliments ! it also pairs really well with kayali rose oud compliment

AMAZING!!! I’ve always wanted to smell like “a rich aunt”. The aunt who always dresses well, has her nails done… sophisticated. This is it. No one can describe it. It oozes mysterious, sultry, sexy, sophistication.

This scent is so sexy! I also find that Jo Malone is the only fragrance house that does rose scent right! I also like how harmonious these 2 are put together and I feel that neither the rose or our overpower one another. Absolutely would repurchase a bottle!

A unique fragrance!

This scent is unique, sexy, and intense! The drydown is spectacular with notes of rose, clove and the best oud! it lasts a long time it is very sultry and memorable fragrance. Many compliments are received when I wear this.

Favourite Rose 🌹!

I’m in love! I tried the JM Red Rose a long time ago as it was a gift, but gave it to my mom because it wasn’t to my liking. She loved it! I was reluctant to try Velvet Rose & Oud but after learning about its complex notes, I was intrigued. So beautiful! It smells very sophisticated and rich without being too heavy. My only complaint is one I have of all my JM fragrances; most don’t last as long on the skin, depending on which one. This is definitely a lighter scent. I enjoy using the JM lotions and body creams to create a long lasting scent, and that always works very well. I haven’t tried using a JM lotion or cream with this one but I’ve noticed it does last longer on my clothes than my skin, so for now, I’ll try that. At this price point, however, that’s disappointing. When I compare my Jo Malone to Tom Ford, this definitely puts TF fragrances far ahead for me. Still, I love this scent! Hopefully a body cream will become available to layer the scents and make the purchase more justifiable.
