    Rated 5 di 5 di da Wonderful product Ever since I tried your spray Volumizing Tonic, it's been very helpful to my after shampooing routine. I have fine hair. Even though I have a full head of hair, it absolutely does not have any body to help hold a hairstyle. So, Volumizing Tonic greatly helps to get that style and body to go out and meet the day. And, I love the beautiful aroma added when using this product. Hope you keep this product around.

    Rated 5 di 5 di da Wonderful product for very fine hair I have very fine hair that can have a cotton-like texture and can lack shine. I use the rosemary mint shampoo with volume tonic which helps my hair stay manageable and shiny. I do not like any of the products that say "thickening" as these can be too heavy and make my hair look dirty or feel sticky.

I've tried lots of other drug store items that say they'll do the same thing. They don't. They make my hair crunchy and weighted down. So not I don't waste my money on throw away products and just buy what is good.

    Rated 1 di 5 di da Flattens hair and makes it stiff and dry I have fine thin hair. I used this "Volumizing" tonic as directed. Instead of adding volume, it made my hair flat, dry, and lifeless. Do NOT recommend.

    Rated 1 di 5 di da Causing my hair to thin severely I love most Aveda products, but this one left me pretty stunned. I began seeing seriously thin patches all around my crown. I initially thought I must be having some kind of health problem, until I realized this was the product I had added and that this was when the issues began. I have healthy, shoulder-blade length hair, and decided to try this tonic just because I like aveda smells and to help keep my volume after blow-drying. This product was ok, not great, but I thought I'd use up the bottle. After 3 weeks of using every time I wash my hair (every few days) the hair loss is significant. I think this tonic is drying my hair badly and the hair is breaking, but it also looks like it's also causing actual fallout - I see very thin patches where I've been spraying it. It also seems to leave a flaky substance, like dandruff, that I never had in my life. I've stopped using it starting today, and I hope my hair grows back or I at least don't lose any more. I don't tie my hair up, I've never had issues with breakage until this last 3 weeks and only after this Volumizing tonic. Be forewarned if it happens to you.
