Valentino Donna Born in Roma is that girl! Sweet but not childish, classy but still bold. The vanilla hits warm, the jasmine keeps it feminine, AND it last. I get compliments every time I wear it. It feels grown, confident and a little spicy…. Like a date night in a bottle!

So pretty!

I am obsessed with the original Born in Roma! It’s the perfect mix of blackcurrant and jasmine, but the Bourbon Vanilla in the base gives it this warm, expensive-smelling dry down that isn't too sugary. It feels edgy and cool—definitely not your average floral. I wear it to the office and for date nights, and it lasts a solid 8+ hours on my skin. The Rockstud bottle looks so chic on my vanity too. 10/10 would repurchase!

Valentino Donna Born in Roma is a familiar scent. What sets it apart is in its quality, and while I own many of its line this will always be my favorite. This fragrance is complimented, beautifully done, elegant, playful, feminine, and, men and women are equally drawn to it. This is for both day and night, and all season round although I find it sits better on the skin during spring and fall months. This can be worn for all occasions just as long as you are mindful with how much you apply. The bottles atomizer is excellent, the design is fun and of great quality. This fragrance projects!!! It has excellent longevity, and maintains a beautiful scent profile throughout the day. The top notes are black currant, pink pepper, and bergamot. The middle notes are jasmine, jasmine sambac, and jasmine tea. The base notes are bourbon vanilla, cashmere, and guaiac wood. I know Jasmine can raise questions, this is jasmine done right, it isn’t over powering, it isn’t too mature, it isn’t an outdated or, overwhelming scent….. The jasmine is a compliment and not a note that commands negatively. Truly an excellent fragrance!

Really surprised how long it lasted

I tried this perfume on at Kohl’s. I was very impressed by how long the scent lasted. I might have to show my husband this perfume. He just bought me too brand new perfumes for Valentine’s Day so this could be a birthday gift.💝
