I received a sample of this for free from La Mer for testing and review purposes. I have only been using this product for about 3 weeks, but have noticed it makes my face super soft. I use it right after cleansing, followed by my sunscreen/moisturizer before I put on my makeup for the day. While I think it’s too soon to see if it fades my dark spots, I am enjoying how smooth my skin is so far. Makeup application even seems to like it is gliding on easier. My face also does seem to have a bit more of a glow to it. Definitely use sunscreen when using this product as it makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight.

I've been using La Mer's Resurfacing Treatment in the morning and before bed for a few weeks now. It has a water-like texture and absorbs into my skin immediately. Initially it is slightly tacky but disappears within a minute or two. It has a warm scent to it but a little to alcohol smelling for my taste. It’s also very easy to over-pour, so handle the bottle with care! I experienced no irritation using this product. My skin is visibly brighter ,smoother and it dulled my dark spots. I prefer to use this renewing lotion in the evening so that my skin avoids the additional stress of sun exposure. I received this product for free from La Mer for testing and review purposes I felt like my face went through a “purge” when I first started using this product. It has a chemical smell that reminds me of toning lotion from the past. Texture is thin and a bit hard to apply without a cotton ball.
