It works really well

It really works. I’ve been using this product for a couple years but have been more consistent within the last few months and im noticing lots of new baby hair of where im applying the product by my hairline.

Full disclosure I’ve been using Bur Bur oil since October and only just picked this up a few weeks ago. That being said, something about this seems to have set off new growth in a way the Bur Bur wasn’t doing alone. I suspect the combo of Bur Bur (DHT blocker) and this (which includes Capixyl) is what really kicked things up a notch. I use the Bur Bur 2x per week and this 5x per week. I fear consistency actually is key. Re making your hair look greasy, yeah it does. I put this in at night. Do I shower beforehand so I have *freshly* cleaned hair? Nah. I wash my hair every morning and I don’t use a ton of product near my roots. I find my scalp is clean enough for it to still be effective if I put it on at the end of the day. It washes out cleanly in the morning. Another thing, I could see this drying out your scalp if you didn’t do any other kind of deep hydrating. Between Bur Bur and the Amika hydrorush line my bases seem to be covered. If you’re experiencing flakiness, I’d consider a focusing on scalp detox and hydration.

Gave me new baby hair.

I had traction alopecia (like very minimal) near my temples because of tight braiding. I used one bottle - twice per week. I observed hair growth. I have repurchased and hoping I see more growth. It’s really effective for the price point.

Not worth it

It made my hair greasy and caused dandruff. Was not worth it.

Just gross.

Awful. Super greasy and makes your hair feel super gross. I wanted to wash my hair immediately after applying this. I could not return this fast enough.

AMAZING! After every shower I put a few drops where I’m experiencing hair loss then I massage it in. I thought it would make my hair oily but it doesn’t I just leave it in. I’ve been using it for a couple months now and I’d like to say it’s helping!

Only product that works for me!

As someone who has PCOS, hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s I struggle with hair growth and hair loss. I’ve tried many products and techniques with minima to no success. My hair heath has gotten worse over the years and refused to grow. I bought this and was already noticing a difference pretty fast! It wasn’t much but it was certainly better than anything else I’ve tried! And I was necessarily as consistent as I should be. Now I did also do. GI map and found candida and as we’ve coworker on that my hair growth is finally improving a lot more. I strongly believe what goes on inside impacts outside! But this is still the only hair product I would buy again for growth and healthier hair. First time I’d ever seen baby hairs for a while after I first started using it!

The serum is very lightweight but if you have oily scalp you may get a little bit oily. The results are yet to come but usually you need a few months of regular use to see the effect. The price us fair.

Makes scalp flakey

Bought this about four years ago and stopped using it before I was finished with the bottle. Didn’t repurchase after. I’ve been on a hair care journey lately and wondered why I stopped using this. Then the flakes reminded me.

Excited for long term results

gifted by theordinary While I haven’t had enough time to see a difference, the serum is thin. I apply at nighttime before bed as directed because it does leave my hair feeling/looking ever so slight greasy. I have not had any adverse effects while using this product. Can’t wait to see long term results!

Nice product

I have received The Ordinary Multi Peptide Serum for hair density Complimentary from theordinary and have tried it for two weeks. I apply drops on my scalp and massage them lightly and leave it overnight so it can have more effect. The texture is not greasy and doesn’t have by smell. I have noticed a little short hair on some spots that can be due to that serum.
