[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I started using the Kérastase Bain Hydra-Fortifiant Shampoo recently, and it’s honestly been a game-changer. I’m going through menopause, and my hair has become noticeably drier, more fragile, and I’ve been seeing more shedding than usual. This shampoo has really helped turn things around. My scalp feels clean and refreshed after every wash, but what I love most is that it doesn’t strip my hair or leave it feeling tight or dry. It lathers beautifully and rinses out clean. After using it consistently, my hair feels softer, looks shinier, and I’ve noticed way less breakage when brushing or styling. The scent is also really lovely—light, fresh, and slightly floral. It makes the whole experience feel luxurious, which is a nice bonus when you’re trying to care for yourself during hormonal changes. I’ve been a devoted of OlaPlex fan for several years now, but have gotten so frustrated with their packaging that I finally decided to leave them for Kerastase. The packaging is better, I will be able to get all of the product out. I’m not crazy about the screw off tops though, that can be challenging with wet hands in the shower, chasing down a top that’s fallen out of your hands. That would be my biggest suggestion is that the top not screw completely off but stay attached to the bottle. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but I genuinely think it’s worth it for the results I’ve seen. If you’re dealing with dryness, breakage, or menopausal hair changes, I’d absolutely recommend this.

I was a little nervous to use this product as I had read a few bad reviews about it causing excessive dryness and hair fallout. Ive used it for a few weeks now and have not experienced either. I haven't noticed any improvement or problems. It lathers well and my hair does feel light and clean afterwards. What I don't like is the scent. I feel it has a very strong chemical smell I don't like at all. One of the most unpleasant smelling shampoos I've ever used.

Good for thin and fine hair

Has a gel consistency that feels very light. It lathers very well and will not dry the hair. It is indeed an ideal shampoo for those whose hair strands tend to get oily quickly. I have fine and thin hair and this does wonders for me. Packaging was normal and well put together.

Not for me
