Soft velvet style box which screams classy. As with any JPG fragrance, it's got some decent throw and can be whiffed at 100 paces, 8 hours later. Very strong which is as expected for an intense labelled fragrance. Well worth the price point. The fragrance itself is clean, masculine and decadent.

Amazing, I love the scent! I've been wearing it every day since I got it. The projection is pretty generous, it lasts long and leaves a nice trail behind. It evolves nicely too, sweet at first, then it softens into a subtle woody vibe. Fresh and versatile, perfect for both day and night.

Bold, playful, and gourmand

I really enjoyed trying JPG’s Scandal. It opens fresh but quickly turns into a sweet mix of caramel and tonka with a bit of vetiver to keep it grounded. It’s bold, playful, and definitely leans gourmand, which makes it stand out from a lot of other men’s fragrances. Longevity is solid at about 6–7 hours with good projection early on. For me, it’s more of a night-out or cooler weather scent than an everyday wear, but when I want something fun and attention-grabbing, this one delivers.

An Intense Scandal

I have to say it's the most irresistible scent from this line! It's sweet and aromatic, initially I didn't get any leather, but I think you can detect traces in the dry down. The longevity is very good and lasts approximately 6 hours on my skin.

Warm, but bold!

Scandal Intense by Jean Paul Gaultier is bold, warm, and addictive. Right when i sprayed it, i got that sweet caramel and tonka bean richness, balanced with a touch of vetiver and clary sage which gives it that masculinity. It’s sweet but not childish at all. It feels more like a confident, after-dark kind of sweetness that you would wear in the evening! (although you can wear it whenever in my opinion). The projection is strong, and the dry down leaves this smooth, almost creamy warmth on the skin. I’d say it’s perfect for nights out or cooler weather when you want to stand out without being overwhelming. I think this is worn best in the fall time!!

The longevity is excellent, easily lasting 8+ hours on skin and even longer on clothing. The packaging is striking, stylish, and instantly recognizable as a Jean Paul Gaultier creation. Considering the quality and performance, the value for money is impressive compared to many designer fragrances in the same category.

opens with a fresh burst of mint and citrus, immediately setting it apart as the brightest and most refreshing entry in the line. The heart introduces a smooth suede-like leather blended with tonka and woods, giving it a semi-sweet warmth without ever becoming cloying. It’s easily the least sweet of the Scandal flankers, with the sweetness gradually fading into a refined woody-leathery base. While it shares the Scandal DNA and might feel familiar, this version stands out as more versatile, mature, and mass-appealing, making it wearable in almost any season. It may not deliver the same bold sweetness punch as its predecessors, but its balance of freshness, woodiness, and soft leather makes it one of the most refined and approachable releases in the series.

Like the EDT but Mature

Honestly, I didn’t have that high of expectations for this fragrance seeing the reviews other people were giving it but I was pleasantly surprised. Despite the advertising, it still holds a lot of the notes found in the original edt. The caramel note is definitely the backbone and signature of this fragrance line and it’s done in a prominent but not overwhelming way here. The leather isn’t overpowering or animalic but more like a background note for better or for worse. Personally, I see this as an easy everyday fragrance for someone that’s both youthful and mature during the colder months. Performance is good, almost too good. Lasts the entire day and projects for a good few hours. Packaging is good but tacky but that’s pretty on brand for JPG so nothing to say there.
