Nice Formula

I’m basing my review on the formulation and not so much on the color. This color, Ida Mocha, is not something I would wear but that’s my personal preference. If you like a deeper, rich, mocha brown, then you’ll like this color. The formula is a matte finish so you get a lot of saturation with one swipe. It’s not dry or resistant in any way while applying. It’s a very moisture-rich consistency but not smeary. This lipstick lasts all day without touch ups too. The color stays true and looks as good as if you just applied it. There is no bleeding either which is something I worry about especially getting older. The scent itself is on the perfumey side which I don’t particularly care for but again, that’s subjective. I think this is a good purchase if you like high end makeup. The gold tube is a nice touch too.

Needs a liner

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This lipstick feels very creamy and semi-sweet on the lips. This is my first time trying Gucci lipstick so that was different for me. My lips are pretty chapped, and it does show that dryness, but no more than other lipsticks. It did feel very nice. I definitely need a liner with this color though, I felt like my lips kind of "disappeared" without it.

Matte finish

Beautiful color

I really love the shade of the Gucci Rouge Matte Lipstick. The shade I received is Emilie Burgundy 530. It’s beautiful color and coverage is so good. It glides so smoothly and stays long time. Its not at all heavy on my lips and feels comfortable to carry all day long. It has very nice matte finish.

The packaging of this lipstick is stunning, along with the shade it is just a perfect mixture or pink and nude! The finishing on the lip is a matte stunning color. Applied smoothly with the bullet shape application.

Gucci Rouge à Lèvres Matte Lipstick is my new go to for lip color. This color is neutral and glides on like butter. The pigment is perfect for my skintone. You can wear it matte or add a gloss to compliment it. It doesn’t dry my lips like most other lipsticks. The gold tube represent quality and class.

It's SO silky and smooth. It glides on easily. It has a sort of scent and maybe even a mild taste like vanilla. But that's a good thing, so many lipsticks honestly taste awful. The color is true to what it looks like in the tube, what you see is what you get. It goes on looking exactly the same, no surprises or disappointments.

Eye catching matte lipstick

This is a great matte lipstick. It feels super soft and smooth on the lips. This wears very well and will last a few hours. It never feels dry and my lips felt soft and moisturized while using. I received this in the mocha color and it is exactly what you would expect. A deeper brownish red that is great for a night out.
