N°. 4 Fine Bond Maintenance – Shampoo

Absolutely terrible

This is the worst shampoo that I have ever used. It turned my long, fine, soft hair into a sticky, tangled mess. It felt like I had tons of product buildup on my hair. I happened to go to my hairdresser after using this a few times and she advised me to stop using this product (which I was planning to do anyway). I’ve been using the original Olaplex bond builder for several years and love it, so I was excited to try the fine hair formula and I’m super disappointed. It looks like all of the positive reviews for this product were incentivized.

Perfect for curly, fine hair

My daughter has 4a hair, but it is fine. This shampoo was perfect for her colored hair and curls. It didn't leave her hair feeling like it had been stripped of everything. Her hair was actually softer than it had been in a while! This has become her new favorite shampoo.

“Liked it, just didn’t notice a huge change”

I’ve been using the Olaplex No.4 Fine Shampoo for a bit now, and I do like it. It makes my hair feel really clean without drying it out or making it flat, which is hard to find when you have fine hair. It lathers up nicely and doesn’t take much at all. I didn’t notice a huge change right away, but my hair feels softer and a little stronger after a few washes. The scent is light and fresh, not too strong. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I was hoping for a little more volume or shine, but overall it’s a good shampoo that keeps my hair feeling healthy and clean.

Awesome Anti-Breakage Shampoo

I’ve been using the Olaplex No.4F Bond Maintenance® Shampoo for Fine Hair for a week, and honestly, it’s such a win for anyone with thinner or finer hair that tends to get weighed down. It’s super lightweight but still gives that signature Olaplex bond-strengthening power. The formula lathers beautifully and makes my hair feel clean, soft, and airy without any heaviness or residue. The scent is so fresh — a subtle mix of citrus and mint that smells clean and uplifting but not overpowering. I honestly love the smell and my boyfriend complimented my hair scent as well. What I love most is how it gives my hair noticeable volume and lift at the roots while keeping everything smooth and hydrated, thanks to the hyaluronic acid. After just a couple of uses, my hair felt stronger, bouncier, and overall healthier. When paired with the No.5FINE Conditioner, it really takes it up a notch — my hair had double the body and looked like I’d just had a salon blowout. It’s also sulfate-free, cruelty-free, and full of good ingredients that won’t strip or dry out your hair. I also love that it reduces the likelihood for breakage which is something I’m concerned about as I do get my hair lightened several times a year. The only con is the price tag, but since you only need a small amount each time, it lasts forever. If your hair is fine and you’ve struggled to find a shampoo that adds life without making it flat, this is absolutely worth the splurge. 5/5 — major volume, shine, and softness in one bottle!

I received this as a part of an educational promotion.I absolutely love this shampoo the smell is very pleasing it smells very fresh and clean. It does indeed remove build up I noticed an immediate difference after first wash.It left my hair squeaky clean without leaving it dry which is major!

My hair came back to life with Olaplex

From the first time I tried the Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo, I knew it would be a permanent part of my hair routine. My hair was damaged, dull and with very dry ends due to the constant use of heat tools, but this shampoo really made the difference. It has a creamy texture and a soft aroma that leaves a feeling of deep cleaning without drying out the scalp. What I like the most is how it manages to keep the hair strong and manageable from root to tip. After a few washes, I noticed less frizz, more softness and that healthy shine that I hadn't seen for a long time.

This shampoo does wonders on your unruly hair, I am loving the way it has calmed the frizz in my hair, I have been using it for several days and I have noticed how my hair is regaining its shine and silkiness, it is not heavy at all, it has a very soft smell that is not at all overwhelming with chemicals, also you do not need to use a large amount to get a good lather, it helps you clean your hair well leaving it lighter, it does not leave hair greasy at all and it does not irritate the scalp, it delivers what it promises, it is an excellent shampoo.

Great Shampoo!!

I received Olaplex Volumizing fine hair shampoo as a part of an educational promotion. As someone who has had fine hair my entire life, I was excited to try this product. Although I have fine hair, as I age, my hair has become somewhat frizzy, an issue I did not have before. My hair has been having cotton candy texture and I have dreaded showering and blow drying it. However, that was no match for this shampoo. It tamed my frizzy hair and helped me have smooth hair once again. No more cotton candy texture! My hair overall feels stronger, smoother, more manageable, and even healthier. Blow drying my hair was even easier. A small amount of shampoo lathers very well, so the shampoo bottle will last a long time. I absolutely love how clean my hair felt after showering.
