Not right for me

I was so excited to try out the iconic shade “Pillow Talk”! Charlotte Tilbury products always have gorgeous packaging and the Matte Revolution Hydrating Lipstick is no exception. The shade itself looks beautiful but once I applied it on my lips I was very underwhelmed. It goes on smooth but somehow looks dry on me. For me it’s a must to apply some lip balm beforehand and if I want it to look amazing then I must apply lipgloss too! I don’t mind mixing and matching 2-3 lip products but for the price of this lipstick I expect it to look absolutely amazing on its own as well! The good thing is that it looks better on my teenage daughter so she uses it more often.

Creamy matte lipstick

I love this creamy soft matte lipstick! It has great coverage and a nice color. It’s very moisturizing and long lasting. It’s weightless and easy to apply.

It layers great with other products too depending on if you want a matte or glossy look. The packaging is stunning and classic. This is long lasting and stays on through the night and dinner dates! Overall, I love this product!

Pillow Talk is excellent for most complexions. I use both original and medium and enjoy using both. Long lasting and a lovely texture on the lips, no bleeding or fading.

Pretty, doesn't last long

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is an overall nice lipstick. The packaging is very luxe, which I expect from Charlottle Tilbury. The shade is a beautiful rosy nude pink, it works well on my fair skin tone. The formula is okay, I would definitely call it more matte than hydrating. It tends to cling to lines and dry patches on the lips, so i recommend hydrating before hand. The wear is where I find it lacks. It only stays on for maybe an hour or two, then it's gone. Its quite nice, but I have cheaper lipsticks that last longer.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is a lovely Luxe and high-end matte lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury. I was so excited to receive this product from Influenster because it is a prestige brand! The coverage is a full matte satin texture and the consistency is creamy and hydrating. I don’t find the wear of it longer than a drugstore brand. Pillow talk is a beautiful nude pink color that looks very sophisticated and natural.
