Absolute game changer for frizzy and unruly hair

I’ve struggled with thick, dry, frizzy hair for years, especially living in a humid climate where my strands turn into a puffed-up mess within minutes of stepping outside. I’ve tried countless masks, oils, and smoothing treatments, but nothing has delivered results like the Kérastase Discipline Masque Oléo-Relax. This is hands-down the best deep-conditioning treatment I’ve ever used, and it’s earned a permanent spot in my hair routine. From the first use, the transformation was incredible. The rich, creamy texture (almost luxurious and “plasticky” in the best way) spreads easily through my lengths and ends without feeling heavy or greasy. I typically apply it after shampooing, leave it on for 5-10 minutes (sometimes longer for extra hydration), and rinse. The instructions say it’s quick-acting, and they aren’t exaggerating, even a short session makes a noticeable difference. If you’re tired of fighting frizz and dryness, do yourself a favor and try this. Five stars aren’t enough, it’s a miracle in a jar! Highly, enthusiastically recommend.

Deep conditioning mask smooths frizz, adds shines

I’ve been using the Kérastase Discipline hair mask for a few weeks now and I’m really impressed! After shampooing, I apply a small amount to my damp hair, leave it on for about 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly — and my hair feels noticeably smoother and softer right away. The mask helps control frizz and makes brushing so much easier. My hair also has a beautiful shine without feeling weighed down. The scent is lovely and not too strong, which makes my haircare routine feel like a little luxury. I’ve definitely seen a big improvement in texture and manageability, especially in humid weather. Highly recommend for anyone with frizzy or hard-to-manage hair!

I have been using this product for over ten years. My hair is thick, slightly course, and air dries with some wave. I am not the recommended hair type for this mask but I use it anyway. The mask smells wonderful and makes my hair smooth and shiny. For my hair type I would not recommend using daily but it is so nice for an occasional treat. Oleo Relax is one of my favorite hair products!

Too heavy for fine hair

This mask definitely delivers on smoothness and frizz control, but unfortunately it was too heavy for my hair type. After use, my hair felt overly straight, weighed down, and greasy, especially near the roots, even when I used a small amount. While it does soften and tame frizz well, it lacks volume and bounce, making my hair look flat rather than healthy and airy. I think this mask may work better for very thick, coarse, or extremely frizzy hair, but for fine or normal hair, it can easily feel like too much.
