Not good. This lipstick color

Not good. This lipstick color looks nothing like it does on the model. The color is completely different. It is thin and insipid looking. Comes off and fades really fast. Usually a matte lipstick has more heft and staying power than this. I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in a lipstick. A complete waste of money.

LFG lip color

This matte lip suede is a beautiful fuschia color that livens up a natural makeup look and adds a statement for formal occasions. Absolutely gorgeous!!!

Lipstick Set

I bought the Matte Lipstick along with Liquid Lip Balm and Lip Liner all together. I needed a change and a boost to my routine. I LOVE it and other make up from Westman Atelier and have even received compliments on the color I choise!

Gorgeous colour

The colour is just gorgeous. Felt nice on. Found it bled a little through the day and took some real effort to get off in the evening with makeup remover. Overall I love the colour enough to put up with the other things.

Hydrating and lovely

Used the video Gucci posted on her lip application and this color really was the key to my look.

The perfect matte formula

For someone like me, who likes the look of matte lips but hates the drying feeling, these lipsticks are perfection. The colors are flattering, the formula is VERY moisturizing, and the packaging is luxurious. I will mention that it smells a little “off” which I believe is the kaolin clay if you have tried other clean beauty. But the smell goes away. It lasts about a couple hours but leaves a nice tint and is very easy to re-apply as it layers nicely…unlike other matte lipsticks which tend to pill. Can’t wait to try more colors.

My favorite lipstick

The feel of this product is delightful. I love a matte finish, but usually find them drying. The unique moisturizing agents allow a matte look, but my lips feel plump and smooth. I have bought four of these, and am planning on purchasing a fifth.

Wonderful

I now have 4 lipsticks from WA and they do not disappoint. I am a makeup nut and am addicted to all the products I have purchased over the years. The quality of the packaging is so luxurious.

NOT “hydrating” in the least.

The NEW colors are lovely and the packaging is first rate BUT the formula is so drying to my lips. I read somewhere that Gucci Westman recommends the use of a balm underneath the Lip Suede Matte Lipsticks. I agree. This formula is NOT “hydrating” IMO. I’ve purchased three of the colors so far so you’d guess I’d learn by now.

Good formula, good on my coloring

I am impressed by the performance of this lipstick. It sits lightweight and matte. I find that as long as my lips are reasonably hydrated to begin with that it isn’t drying. One of the things I like about it is the longevity. It is one of those lipsticks I can apply a gloss like the Dior maximized over or in the center and it does not affect the performance of the lipstick too much. I also do like the shade on me. It is a pretty neutral pink on me. Light… not the same as the petal blush but coordinates with it very well. It goes very nicely with my particular coloring and I can do liner or no liner with this one.
