Hands down, the most effective lip balm! And it can withstand extreme cold (and heat). I used this lip balm in the brutal Michigan winters and in the hot Palm Springs summers and it saved my lips.

A magnificent product gone wrong

I have been using Kiehl’s lip balm since it used to come in a tiny jar! It was absolutely amazing! Not anymore. I am appalled by the new product / it is absolutely terrible. It smells like rancid oil, it looks awful and it burns / dries my lips. I have stopped using it and will not buy it again unless the company brings back the original formula. Sorry to see this product being literally ruined. I was a super loyal customer 😢

I really like this lip balm. I feel as if the packaging could be cuter, and I find their handcream is more effective, but this is also a pretty nice product.

Product changed for the worse

It seems like the formula has changed on this product. It is a different color and does not work. It was my go to for many years, but mo longer. My lips were much drier, AFTER using the balm! Please go back to the original formula.

No longer can claim #1 - not anymore.

I have used this lip balm for over 20 years and loved it. Now I find it so ineffective and instead of keeping my lips moist actually does the opposite. So sad and now working on finding a decent replacement.

L’oreal Ruins Another Classic

I’m incredibly disappointed with this formula change. Nobody asked for it and the new version is inferior. It’s clear this is to consolidate SKUs and not about improvements for the customer OR the environment. L’oreal are trashing this brand.

Let me start off by saying I’m a lip balm girlie ✨ In fact, I have a whole makeup bag just for my lip products. Kiel’s consistently delivers moisture, hydration, and that fresh, clean girl scent that I gravate to either in the morning or just before bed. It’s shiny, but never sticky. I love Khiels packaging because it feels so clean, NYC, and just scientific. Love!

This lip balm is so good. It really sinks into your lips and has a silky, almost Vaseline like texture but lighter. The only thing I would change is the applicator. It’s just like a spout and doesn’t have an actual applicator that goes on the lips without feeling scratchy.
