Changed Formula - BEWARE

I checked in to see if perhaps Kiehl had been wise enough to change this formula back to the one I used daily since early in 1990's. It was the product I kept in my nightstand, my car, my purse, in downstairs powder room. But after the company buckled to the soy free crowd, and changed the formula, I agree with all the other negative reviews. It makes my dry lips WORSE - dry to the point of cracking. MISERABLE STUFF. Agree texture change is also bad. Why? For something you put on your lips. I had to trash 10 tubes I of "new" I ordered without realizing it had changed. No orders since, and sadly I now see from these reviews, none in the future. I echo what others have said. PLEASE change it back, or rebrand a second product that, wink, wink is the same as the "original". Also agree it is fraud to claim the current disastrous product is the ORIGINAL.

Lip balm

Interestingly, this lip balm actually makes my lips feel super dry. It soaks into your lips instantly, which makes you want to reapply the product very often. I tested this product quite a lot and every time I have the same outcome. I definitely do not recommend this lip balm (instead invest in Laneige (lip sleeping mask) amazing product which will cure your dry lips instantly!)

Does not work at all

This left my lips MORE DRY than before application. The consistency is very loose and my lips don’t feel hydrated at all…. I want a refund.

Goopy, doesn't absorb

Wish this were better. It's kinda thick but doesn't fully absorb. More likely I rub/lick it off by accident. It's a bit of a goopy texture like vaseline and the bottle is basic and doesn't have a proper applicator. Don't love this product and wouldn't recommend.

I liked the stick that this replaced but this also works, I know controversial!

New formula is terrible

I agree with other reviews that the new formula is terrible! It makes my lips worse. Two minutes after putting it on, it dries up (maybe the company did this on purpose to use it up quicker so you have to buy more). Definitely not the #1 lip balm anymore. Definitely switching to a different brand unless they go back to the old formula. (I have been a Kiehl’s lip balm customer since 2006.)

Made my lips worse. Disappointed that the product made my lips drier and more chapped and painful.

New formula is terrible

Please bring back the old lip balm! This new version makes your lips dry and rough. Better to use nothing than this formula! Going to get my money back. Stay away from version. It’s white instead of clear and doesn’t work at all.

It’s okay

Nice but not spectacular. I found it similar to Vaseline but thinner in consistency.

New formula is not nearly as good as the original

New formula is terrible for me. I'm a long time Lip Balm #1 user and am totally addicted. I put it on every night and multiple times a day. So disappointed with the new formula.

Bring back the old chapstick-style lip balm!!!!

This balm moisturizes well, but it's a poor substitute for the discontinued lip balm that was in stick form. I find this one to have an unpleasant iodine taste, and you probably want to use your fingers to apply it, as opposed to the very minty and pleasant-tasting chapstick-style lip balm, which didn't get your hands greasy. Bring back the old stick chapstick please!!!!!

BEST LIP BALM I HAVE EVER USED.

Immediately, upon using the lip balm, my lips began to heal, and, after two (2) days of use, my lips were healed.
