Cute packaging, smell doesn’t last long

Super cute packaging for this perfume! The smell is super great when you put it on but it doesn’t last for a super long time. I would purchase this if I found it for a decent price.

not for everyone

Capri In Love is a pleasant, more floral take on the classic Light Blue, with soft citrus and romantic floral notes. It opens fresh and slightly sweet, making it feel light and summery—great for daytime wear or a casual outing. That said, it didn’t quite stand out to me. The longevity was a bit underwhelming, fading quicker than expected. Also, a friend of mine really didn’t like the scent, which made me a little more aware of how subjective and polarizing it can be.

Melon and peppery

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The opening comes off as a semi sweet melon scent to me. The melon scent sticks around throughout the dry down and is accompanied by a slight peppery and woody scent through the mid and bottom notes. The longevity is good as i was able to pickup the scent throughout a full workday.

After first smelling this scent I knew this was my next go to scent! So good!

Decent cologne

Lovely Lightweight Summer Scent

Love this perfume! It is fresh, fruity, and floral, such a lovely scent for summer. The scent is very strong and will go a long way, so I think it's a good value for the cost.

A simple yet intense fig-forward scent

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was surprised by how fig-forward this cologne is. Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Capri in Love Pour Homme Eau de Parfum has a rich and intense fig note that dominates its composition. It supposedly has a composition of black pepper and patchouli as well, but the fig note really does dominate. It’s bold, unexpected, and surprisingly overpowering. It’s a unique take on the Light Blue lineup, but I can’t say it’s necessarily my favorite. Don’t get me wrong. It smells good and would work well for the upcoming summer; it just doesn’t seem to call my attention like a more complicated, fresh scent would. However, if you’re just looking for a simple, sweet scent for the summer, this one will do the trick.

So good! This scent is definitely a cool, interesting new play on the light blue classic! I’ve loved this line of fragrance for a long time and this one has been no exception, I would definitely highly recommend! Wore this at the beach and it gets bonus points for lasting a while!

Fruity Patchouli

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I am grateful for the free sample. It just isn’t my kind of fragrance. The opening is very heavy on the fig (which is great in my opinion.) what I’m not a fan of is how heavy the patchouli scent is, that being said, I’ve never been a fan of patchouli so I came in with the expectation of not liking the fragrance. So if you’re someone that loves sweet/fruity combined with a patchouli scent. Then this is the fragrance for you.
