I purchased the product from an authorised Kérastase retailer, where I had heard great things about it, but I had a very poor experience. The oil is extremely greasy: it leaves the hair with that oily effect all the time and makes it incredibly dry. In fact, looking at the ingredients used, such as Isopropyl Myristate and Isododecane, these are comedogenic solvents that definitely dry out the hair, especially if it’s already damaged, bleached, or naturally dry. I would not recommend it at all – it’s no longer the same as it was many years ago. Unfortunately, Kérastase has worsened the solar line by completely changing it compared to 10–15 years ago. Just like the green Age Recharge shampoo, which was the absolute best and has now disappeared. Have they perhaps prioritised cutting quality in favour of mass production?
