Light weight, provides just enough control and volume, and smells lovely.

Curling mousse

This is the best curling mousse I’ve ever used. it saves me so much time in the morning. However, the nozzle at the top is very stiff and seems to have cracked.. I’m not sure if I’ll get more uses!

No Curl Definition or Hold. Not Really Frizz-Free

I really want to like this but it doesn’t live up to my expectations. It is luxurious sure scent-wise, packaging too but it doesn’t define curls. I have fine curly hair and it’s already soft but the frizz remained, it’s not long lasting it’s flexible-hold coz’ there’s really NO HOLD so you can just conveniently part hair, tie it up, but outdoors, wind can just blow it and mess it up and not go back to a certain style you just fixed it as. It made my curly hair look a bit dry, not sure if it’s meant to have matte finish? But just doesn’t work on my naturally curly fine hair that needs more shine moisture and oil/serum.

great for easy summer hair

really love this mousse! This is a cast-less mousse that works so great on wavy hair. If you want a lot of definition this probably won't work for you. I normally apply my styling products on soaking wet hair but this works better (and you can use less product) on towel dried hair. I section my hair, apply the mouse, and scrunch sometimes adding a bit more when its about 50% dry. Unlike some other products I feel like this this looks even better/brings out more of a wavy/shaggy texture the more I scrunch it around after its dried. Works great with the definition cream/oil for more definition and taming some frizz

Absolutely LOVE this product!!

I absolutely LOVE this product!! I have course, wavy, long hair, and I am someone who doesn't like to use a lot of different products. I use this one on damp hair as a finishing product just after a wash (secret styling tip: I actually like to use JVN's Complete Instant Recovery Serum as the base on my damp hair to lock in moisture), as well as mid-way between washes on dry hair as a refresher for my natural style. In both cases, it makes my hair *so soft*, with cohesive and flowing waves. Eliminates frizz while maintaining softness. Freshens hair as though freshly washed. Smells *amazing*!!

Didn’t really work for me. My hair became more and more frizzy as they dried after using it.

Great Product

I love the smell and texture of the Shu Uemura Kaze Wave Curl Mousse. I love the elegance and classy look of the can. I don't like that it's tough on the button and that one needs to use a lot.

I have very long hair and this did a good job of bringing out my waves and making my hair look more luscious and textured. However, dispenser broke easily and it is VERY expensive. Overall, I liked it but wouldn't repurchase because of the price.

Great for frizzy hair

I like this product. My son and I use it. We’re hair type 2B-2C. It helps with the frizzy mess and maintains our curls. I put it on damp hair before going to bed. :)

Let me start by saying, if you have fine/thin hair, or if your hair is otherwise easily weighed down, this product is not for you. That being said, when used on the appropriate hair types (coarser/thicker types with a natural curl pattern), this product is amazing! I use Moroccanoil first on my hair, then apply a small amount of my Redken curl cream, and end with whatever mousse or gel I'm using. With this product, I can skip the curl cream and still have well-defined, non-frizzy curls! I have to stress you only need a SMALL AMOUNT of this product; do NOT put your regular-sized glob of mousse in your hand! Scrunching like normal after applying is important too, even though you don't end up with the same crunch as other products. That took me some getting used to--remembering to still scrunch even though the texture was different.
