The wand and spoolie are easy to use.

I love the waterproof aspect. The black is so distinct and beautiful. The wand is comfortable and easy to manipulate. The spoolie gives a nice thickness and definition to my lashes. Definitely part of my everyday routine.

I recently tried the Lancôme Hypnôse Drama Waterproof Mascara, and I’m totally hooked! It gives my lashes a noticeable lift without feeling stiff, and the waterproof formula stays flawless all day (even through tears or sweat 😅). What I love most? It’s so buildable—one coat looks naturally lush, but you can easily layer it for drama without clumping. Plus, the wand is super user‑friendly—it glides right through my lashes and combs them out beautifully. Definitely a new favorite in my makeup bag!

Thick formula

Lancôme HYPNOSE DRAMA WATERPROOF MASCARA is waterproof, but the formula is so thick it can easily clump if you brush it over and over doing difficult the lash separation. The wand's curved shape helps give it volume but I didn't see any curling results. Takes a lot time to remove it , and I didn't like that.

Not great

This mascara is just okay. For some reason it takes a long tine to dry causing my lashes to clump together. I cant get past the way it dries and clumps together. It is also incredibly hard to get off even after makeup remover and double cleansing.

Flawless waterproof mascara!

This mascara worked wonders! I love waterproof mascara but it always seemed to come off at the beach. I tested this product out and there were no flakes or clumps after being in the water. My eyelashes looked curled and beautiful even after swimming. I recommended using a waterproof mascara remover though as it was rough to take off.

Brings the drama!

This mascara comes in a dramatic tube which perfectly describes the formula as well! My lashes stayed curled while also getting great buildable length from the formula. The volume was amazing! This formula lasts all night long and is very waterproof!!

Fantastic

I have very thin lashes that almost look non-existent. This mascara is amazing! The formula goes on smoothly and evenly. I love the brush. It really helps give my lashes a huge volume boost! It doesn't flake or smudge and stays put all day until I remove it with make up remover! Absolutoey love it!

Clumpy, sticky, and hard to remove.

Not my favorite mascara overall. While the first application goes on nicely—separating lashes and adding some length—the formula quickly becomes problematic. It has a sticky consistency that doesn’t fully dry down, and trying to apply a second coat leads to clumping rather than building volume. Like most waterproof formulas, it's also difficult to remove, even with strong makeup removers. If you’re looking for something buildable or with a clean finish, this might not be the one.

Regular

Regular mascara, not my favorite. The waterproof is actually true but I don’t like it at all. However, I have to say that looks incredible in your lashes.

Waterproof, yes. The best, no.

This product is definitely waterproof! It takes a lot of makeup remover to get it off. I will say that it was a good mascara in terms of adding some volume and curl, as well as being clump free. That being said, it is difficult to remove and I don’t feel like it added as much volume as some of my other mascaras. For a waterproof mascara, it is great. It just wouldn’t be my first choice.

Lasts all day, looks great, and doesn't flake off!

This mascara is a game changer! It lasted all day, didn't flake off, separated my fake lashes, and gave them a nice voluminous lift. It was super easy to apply, and the buildable formula is amazing!

Volumizing mascara

Decent mascara - definitely waterproof and doesn't flake or smudge. It is better at volumizing than lengthening. You just have to be careful not to apply too much otherwise you will get clumpy lashes.
