Lovely Foundation

I almost didn't buy this because of the negative reviews. However, for me, this is a lovely foundation. My to go colour is always Fresco, so the colour was right. In my experience of years of buying different foundations, if you don't get the colour right, the foundation, no matter how expensive, will never be right.The coverage, for a sheer foundation, is good. It covers my redness, but still looks very natural. I finish it off with a light dusting of Double Wear powder foundation on my T zone. I used to wear just the powder foundation on its own, but found it began to look a bit dull and flat. This liquid foundation seems to brighten my complexion and give it a healthy glow.For the record, I am 67 and obviously have mature skin that tends to be dry.

Best applied with a blender

I love this foundation, it's light but still reasonable coverage and evens out my redness. For me on my mature-ish skin, it doesn't apply well with a brush, it's much better patted on with a blender.

J'ai toujours entendu parler du célèbre "Double Wear d'Esthée Lauder", sans y prêter plus d'attention. Le prix faisait partie des freins, et je me satisfaisais fort bien des autres marques avec lesquelles j'ai fonctionné au gré des années et de ma curiosité. Et puis je l'ai eu en échantillon lors d'un achat. Je l'ai essayé un peu par hasard, pour voir. Et j'ai là compris. Le résultat naturel est bluffant, la modularité de couvrance aussi, et sa facilité d'utilisation, au doigt ou au pinceau, en font un incontournable de ma routine make-up. Plus cher que d'autres marques? C'est certain, mais maintenant je sais pourquoi et je ne changerai pas :-) !!

Non adatto alle mie esigenze

Non lo trovo adatto alla mia persona, non è coprente e non agisce sulla lucidità della pelle.

so disappointed

Was really looking forward to trying this, I've been wearing the Double Wear Stay in Place Foundation for years, and wanted to try something else. but was so disappointed ?? this is like water. even putting it on doesn't do anything, no coverage at all. Waste of money. wish I read the reviews first.

Unbelievable

I bought this foundation because I wanted a change from Mac products but wish I just bought what I know. Just started using it and it does nothing to my face,. It's like I don't have make up at all.

Molto leggero e idratante. Poco coprente ma da effetto molto naturale. Consigliato!

Terrible

Bought from a department store that I don't live near. Opened it and it leaked down the bottle. Gave it a really good shake as it says but it just runs everywhere like water.

Ne tient pas

Peu couvrant et en plus, ne tient pas. Déçue... D'autant plus que j'ai été conseillé en parfumerie...

Rien à voir avec le double wear classique

Je m'attendais à une version juste plus légère du double wear. Mais celui ci ne tient pas, il faut choisir une teinte plus foncée car très liquide. Ne résiste même pas au test du mouchoir. Je préférais la version double wear light. Autant ne rien mettre.

Everyday Wear

This foundation is very light. But I find it ideal for everyday general use. It's light so only gives a hint of colour, but sufficient for me. I don't like heavy foundation that I find can cake into lines. I use it on top of futurist aqua brilliance primer.
