Lovely woody scent

Although this is a men’s perfume I got it to share with my partner as I love the woody scent. I found it layered well with other scents that work with the ingredients. It’s a fresh masculine vibe, ideal for all seasons. It’s also ideal for evening and date night. If you like woody this is a good one to go for.

Clean, woody, and modern with effortless everyday

Dior Homme EDT (2020) flies under the radar due to the notoriety of the Parfum and Intense versions, but don’t be fooled, this is a fantastic fragrance, and easier to wear than the latter. The opening is zesty bergamot over a spicy pink pepper pop. The dry down is where this fragrance is the best. You’ll get a gorgeous cashmere wood alongside atlas cedar that gives you that slight pencil shavings feel, but still keeping the scent very smooth and refined with a hint of freshness. When fully settled, you’ll get notes of musk, Haitian vetiver and ISO E that add a clean, but masculine finish. Performance is decent at 7-8 hours with moderate projection for the first 2 hours before settling into an intimate scent bubble. This 2020 reformulation should not be confused with the original as the OG was an Iris fragrance and this is not. Overall, this is a super versatile fragrance that can be dressed down or up and will make you fit in at every occasion. It’s generally mass appealing and you’d be hard pressed to find anyone not like this scent profile.

out of the whole homme line this is the one that stood out the most. it is not as powdery or powerful as the rest, just enough to hit the sweet spot for a date night.

It’s somewhat linear, but evolves into a smooth skin like musky woody dry down. Performance is solid, has good initial projection, and excellent longevity with 8-10 hours expected. The blend feels premium and professional without being boring.
