Devotion For Men - Eau de Parfum

D&G does it again!

Coming from a very versatile House, Dolce & Gabbana has always been known for a wide array of very high quality fragrances — and Devotion is no different! It starts off very clean and citrusy (I got notes of lemon, but almost leaned sweet) After about a half hour or so, it started to hit pleasant middle notes that were warm and slightly bitter to help round out the citrus top notes (I got coffee, but there almost also seemed to be some woodsy notes of cedar.) Then a little later we hit the patchouli but not like “hippy” patchouli, it was much more pleasant and helped tied the whole fragrance together. Needless to say, I am looking forward to adding this one to my summer lineup this year and continue to feel impressed by what D&G can do!

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. With that being said, I would not recommend this product personally. The scent seems to carry a very overbearing sweet smell, even once it settles and sits with you. With the notes of floral, jasmine, vanilla, etc. it seems to be more of a feminine fragrance.

Is This A Joke?

This is horrifyingly bad! Do not trust all these incentivized reviews! Whoever thought floor cleaner lemon and burnt black coffee would smell good mixed together was dropped on their head several times as a baby! Stay far away from this disaster!

Descent

Def not a safe blind buy but I really enjoyed it. The performance was so so but the scent was nice specially the coffee! I wonder how this would wear in the summer.

Great cologne

Love this cologne and look forward to purchasing a full sized product. Citrusy notes that are subtle yet noticeable, with one spray able to last all day.

This is how you captivate someone’s attention.

Smells sweet and rather inviting. The smell is projected across the room, it can ensnare any wild tigress from afar. Warning do not wear this if you’re in a relationship! This will bring you a lot of attention.

Great Scent

I am really impressed with the Dolce & Gabbana Devotion for Men Eau de Parfum. I have worn this cologne twice to work and have received compliments both days on several occasions. It is a luxurious smelling cologne. My girlfriend loves it on me. I will definitely purchase this cologne.

Strong lasting fragrance

Very strong scent. I'm not a big fan of coffee in cologne and to me this has a strong coffee scent. The smell lasts all day even despite me running around at work. While this isn't my favorite scent if you are someone who enjoys strong notes of coffee this would be the perfect cologne for you.

Pepper forward

This scent is very peppery and a little thin in my opinion. When I used it I thought “Miami night club”, and that is not my personal scent profile. This would be best used on summer nights.

Missing item

I never got this item so I can not really make a review of it. Just doing this so it goes away on my promotions. I would assume it smells nice but I guess we will never know.

Not overbearing.

A really nice fragrance that fails to match the perfection of D&G light blue, but could definitely make my weekly rotation! It’s smooth and not overbearing. I can detect the notes of lemon, but I don’t detect any elements of coffee, I’m no pro, lol.

Did you say coffee?

I haven’t experienced a coffee note like this in just about any other fragrance. The opening is a realistic coffee bean note which leads the way to a fresh citrus note. It’s tied together with a smoky patchouli base. Overall an interesting and unique compliment puller.
