Airstrait - piastra wet to dry

So disappointed

I bought the Dyson air straight a few weeks ago, having thought about it for a long time. I usually blow dry my hair and then straighten it with steampod after. My hair is long, wavy and hair strand is medium thickness. I watched many videos before buying it where women had much curlier a frizzier hair than mine and it worked pretty well for them. I’ve used this 3 times now and ive followed the directions , and I have to say I’m really disappointed in this tool. It takes longer to use the air strait than it does to just blow dry and steampod it afterwards. The end result is also not great, and I can’t get my hair near the same result as the hair dryer steampod routine. Also the airstrait boasts using cooler temps for less hair damage but it doesn’t work well at alllll on the cooler settings so I have to use temp 140 on damp hair and then use the boost mode on dry…. I regret buying this and it was so expensive too..

Hair feels silky smooth

I bought this feeling quite doubtful but I can honestly say that I am blown away by it. It drys my hair after 3 passes and the hair feels so smooth and silky. It isn’t as heavy as I thought it would be. The only downside is the size of the plug. I take it to the gym with me and have had to buy a small extension lead for it to go into to be able to tuck it into the plugs they have there.

Very disappointed

I bought this about 3 weeks ago but quite disappointed in it…the plug far too big had problem trying to fit it in my bedroom sockets. The handle far too big as awkward to hold as I have small hands as handle not round. And got no travel bag to put item in if going away as spending as much as I did. Drying and straightening hair works but if I knew about these thing I would of not bought it.

Best thing ever!

I had birthday money to spend & had heard & seen great results from the Airstrait, so I thought I'd give it a go, WOW it has blown me away! From wet to dry my hair stays straight the whole week & looks so healthy, I would recommend this 100% . My only qualm is the plug is huge, & my socket sits right on top of my dressing table so it wont fit in. I have to use an extension lead which is a little annoying. But wouldn't be without the Airstrait now ever!

Good buy

Very happy with airstrait. It cuts the drying and styling time in half. And my hair feels thicker now maybe because I'm seeing far less hair loss during the drying/styling process vs the traditional heat tools. I actually had a bad fringe for a bit after getting it as I noticed very small sections of hair in my fringe. I wondered why I would have cut them so short but then realised it was my baby hair growing out. It definitely does far less damage to hair. Is it slightly cumbersome, yes, but it's a minor tradeoff if you are more interested in the hair health.

Changed the game when it comes to hair drying!

Bought this a couple of weeks ago and it has changed the game when it comes to drying my hair especially. Seems to dry my wet hair in one glide. Used to hate the whole hair wash experience but now it is quick, and doesn’t feel like it’s damaging my hair due to the temperature and air flow.

Got this as a birthday present gift last month not used a hairdryer or straightener since love it

Very happy with this airstrait

Amazing product I have very fine hair just below the jawline. Always looks frizzy no matter how I style it. Using the airstrait has significantly improved the look. I have had quite a few compliments lately. Takes a little practice to use at first.. Great for using on wet or dry hair. definitely recommend.

I bought this before the end of 2025 and so amazing! very convenient even I'm in a hurry, so smooth even on dry hair, so shiny on my hair and I can choose what temperature I want. I love all of this and the precision so good and yet so ergonomics I love it

The tool is perfect for my slightly wavy thick but very fine hair strands. The temperature control it’s perfect and it makes me hair to shiny and smooth! It is very precise and easy to hold!
