Why the fragrance in a "clean" product?

I really wanted to love this one. The texture of the Youth to the People Air-Whip Moisturizer is *chef's kiss.* Light, whipped, and my face feels genuinely hydrated after using it. There's a slight tacky finish, which isn't for everyone, but could actually work nicely under makeup as a base. But here's my thing with Youth to the People: they've built their whole brand identity around clean, food-grade ingredients like kale, spinach, hyaluronic acid. So why do their products smell so strongly? Fragrance in skincare is one of the more common irritants out there, and it feels at odds with the "pure ingredients" image they're selling. The smell isn't bad, just unnecessary. The moisturizer itself? Solid. The brand's commitment to being truly "clean"? Still waiting on that.

Amazing!! Extremely light yet extremely hydrating. Skin looked refreshed and felt hydrated the entirety of the day.

Love this lightweight face cream! It's hydrating but not greasy, and keeps my skin moisturized all day. You don't need quite as much as you would think and it absorbs quickly. Love the products from youth to the people - clean, hydrating, and all around winners. A bit pricey, but worth it

My new go to daily hydration

Have been trying this moisturizer for a bit now and my take is it’s lightweight, hydrating and leaves my skin soft and most importantly hydrated! Layers well under makeup as it absorbs quickly. Would highly recommend.

Hydrating lightweight

Lightweight moisturizer. Not greasy and it doesnt clog my pores. It does make my skin feel very plump and hydrated but not like its drowning or coated in moisturizer. Scent is not my favorite but I can overlook it because I like the product enough.

A must Have

This cream makes my skin so soft and hydrated. I have a dry skin so this is a perfect compliment.  I love that it soaks in fast but still keeps my skin moisturized all day. Get it if you can. Definitely one of my favorite moisturizers right now. I will repurchase again.

No go for me

I received this product in return for my honest review. I like the glass packaging and feel you get a good amount of product. The texture does. It feels air whipped. It feels like a hybrid cream and gel moisturizer. The fragrance is too strong for me. It hydrates only for a few hours. Unfortunately it overall irritates my skin and makes my rosacea worse.

I love this product! It’s perfect for dry winter skin. I’ve been struggling with dry patches lately and this moisturizer has really helped. It’s definitely a heavier moisturizer and a little goes a long way.
