Wonderful Hair Styling Tool(s)!

I bought this a few weeks ago and wish I would have done so sooner. I never felt like I could get salon quality hair at home. I have thick wavy hair that can be styled curly or straight and every which way in between. However, I am horrible with a curling iron and I could never hold a hair dryer and a round brush at the same time. I would try to mimic a blowout at home, but would get thick, frizzy results that never looked quite right. Every single attachment on my Dyson produces quality results. The app videos helped me learn in the beginning - and my only regret is not trying this sooner.

Questionable quality

I loved the style, however, one of the attachments fell apart after 3 uses and dyson had not replaced it

Powerful

I love the power in the Coanda 2x vs the original airwrap. It shortens the time to dry and style my hair. My only gripe is that I wish Dyson will create a larger round brush compatible to it.

Not great

I bought this as soon as it launched, having never owned an airwrap. Wouldn't recommend. It keeps stopping weirdly while styling, the curls don't last even when using all the suggested products and the curls/waves are fluffy not smooth.

Great all in one product

I finally got my dreamed Airwrap multi-styler. Great quality of all the parts, lovely colour scheme (amber silk). So far I’m very pleased with the look of my thin straight middle length hair after styling. Curls are finally staying on for long. Need to use it more offten with the videos provided on the app to achieve the look fast and easy as for now I’m still learning but it’s great fun and easy to use. Very happy.

Frustrated

I had issues Immediately with it not recognizing attachments. I am now in the return process and it will take 2-3 weeks to actually get a tool that I can use. For the cost this is a lot of hassle. I just want the a tool that works. Disappointed so far!!!

Excellent Upgrade from the Original!!

I bought the original Dyson airwrap when it came out and didn’t feel like upgrading until the Coanda version and I’m so glad that I did. This is so much easier to use and it keeps my hair curlier for much longer. I absolutely love it. I have very thick medium length hair that usually takes forever to dry & can be frizzy but this really is a game changer and I never use that word lightly. My hair has never been softer or shinier since I started using this and I find that it is easier on my hair than the original version so it’s definitely a good decision to upgrade. I did need to get used to the different placement of buttons, but once I got my head around it all it was fine and I love that the attachments stay on much more securely

Didn’t meet my expectations

Too heavy, hard to handle and left my hair dry and unmanageable.

Don’t do it

This machine was offered to me as a an upgrade due to it being the 4th exchange of the Dyson Airwrap series that all had broke down. This too, powered down on its first use right out of the box. Utterly disappointing and frustrating would be an understatement.

Versatility

The Dyson Coanda X2 is amazing. Easy to use and beautiful design. I have to say that the Coanda straightener attachment does not work the way I expected. That’s the only But I find. The rest of the attachments work great for my curly hair.
