I was actually sent a darker shade than my skin tone—probably just the one I was assigned—but I still tested it to check the pigmentation, and wow, it’s really good 😍. I used a blending brush and it blends out super easily, no harsh lines at all. Even with the darker tone, the formula performs great, so overall I’m really happy with the product.

Soft and smooth, pulls too warm instead of gray

I wish it was a little more gray toned in terms of pigmentation but it's really blendable, smooth, feels soft buttery, matte finish. I also really like the container, it feels so luxurious with a snap on gold lid.

As for effectiveness, it blends easily and helps to define the face naturally without marking patches. It does not look too dark or muddy on your skin. It has a slight pleasing scent that does not stay on the skin. The formula is soft and creamy. The product will not travel on your face after a few hours of application. It leaves a slight glow on your skin.

This is my first time trying the Anastasia smooth blur contour stick and this stick works amazingly well. This will save you so much time putting on your makeup and the stick makes it a breeze. This also covers your imperfections and still gives you such a natural look. This is one of the best contour makeup out there.

This product is very smooth and I love the formula they use. I don’t particularly like this shade but I think if I tried it in another shade I would definitely be isn’t it daily.

Strong cool tone, needs fast blending

I chose the Subtone shade based on the brand’s shade guide. On my skin tone, it pulls more gray than expected and doesn’t blend as seamlessly, appearing slightly patchy if not worked very quickly. The formula applies creamy at first but sets fast, so immediate blending is important. The product itself is high quality and very pigmented; however, this shade leans very cool-toned. I think it works best for those specifically looking for a strong cool toned or editorial style contour. I would be interested in trying the formula again in a shade better suited to my skin tone.
