I love this brush so much. It’s so soft and applies my eyeshadow perfectly. It’s pricey but I think it’s worth it. Really great quality and it looks so luxurious.

Amazing qualify for Applying Shadow to Lids

I have many eyeshadow brushes, some from high-end Japanese brands, but this is my favourite. It applies exactly the right amount of color, without patchiness. And the texture is so soft. In the past, I've used goat-hair brushes and found them irritating. This brush never bothers my sensitive eyes and it washes like a dream with baby shampoo. I've had mine for about ten years and it's still looking perfect. If you are just starting to replace cheaper brushes, buy this one and the crease brush. You will not be disappointed.

Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Also yes.

I seem to be gradually replacing all my brushes with Hourglass ones. They are just SO SOFT. Seriously, nothing compares. Feel like they’ll last forever too.

Beautiful and high quality brush

Super solid brush. Really nice to hold! When my budget allows, hopefully I’ll be able to get the rest of the brushes in hourglass’ collection.

Was super hesitant since the hourglass brush set has seemed to get poor reviews (on Sephora, Nordstrom etc). But was pleasantly surprised! I invest in lux brushes because I know what a difference they make but somehow I always neglected an all over shadow brush. It makes such a difference! Super soft and can build pigment super easily for your base.

I wouldn’t consider this an all over a shadow brush. More of a pat on your eyeshadow brush. It’s not really good at blending and fluffing out your eyeshadows. But it is really good for laying down I would give it a 4 1/2 but since I can’t I gave it a five. Still a really great brush, I just wish I had a different name!

I purchased the #3 & #4. They aren’t as soft as I thought and the eyeshadow just disappeared. My off brand brushes do a better job. In fact my fingers do a better job! And for that cost?? Disappointed! 2 stars for the look and weight.

I LOVE this brush. It’s luxurious. Weight of the brush make is easy to handle and control. The bristles are tapered so I can use different edges for different colours. I use the flat sides to apply base and highlighting. The tip to crease or contour or blend. It is well worth the price.

I used this brush today for the first time. I'm happy with my purchase.

More love for Hourglass #3

I notice a huge difference between this and the allover shadow brush I was using previously (Sephora PRO #12). I am so glad I upgraded, no more scratchy bristles! This brush is super soft, very precise, and has a weighted handle. Is also very easy to clean. I'm slowly replacing all my brushes with Hourglass. They are the very BEST and last forever!

Beautiful construction and no fallout. Extremely soft. Perfectly distributes and blends product. Absolutely no issues with reaching into corners. If you can’t justify the cost and don’t see what the difference could be between this and an inexpensive brush, you really must experience it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
