As someone who’s been using Clinique products for over 25 year with their Dramatically Different Moisturiser,I was genuinely excited to try the Moisture Surge Serum—especially since I already love the Moisture Surge 100-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator.I was curious to see how it would complement my existing skincare routine. The serum itself was lightweight, milky in texture that felt refreshing and absorbed well into the skin effortlessly. I followed the instructions on the packaging—using 3 drops morning and night on clean, toned skin, and layering it with my usual moisturiser and sunscreen during the day. It layered beautifully under makeup and didn’t pill or feel heavy. What really impressed me is the multi-action formula: it contains lactic acid, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin C, which means it exfoliates, hydrates, and brightens—all in one product. I love that I don’t need to use three separate serums anymore. Within two weeks, I noticed my skin felt more hydrated, plump, and radiant throughout the day. While I didn’t see a major change in my visible lines, the overall glow and hydration were definitely noticeable. Plus, it’s been tested on all skin tones, making it inclusive and trustworthy. I’ve been using the Clinique Serum every morning for the past couple of weeks, and it has quickly become one of my everyday essentials. The packaging immediately caught my eye, the soft green bottle paired with the pink serum looks so fresh and inviting! The texture is lightweight, absorbing quickly without leaving any greasy feeling. My skin feels smoother, hydrated, and looks brighter throughout the day. It gives me that natural, healthy glow even without makeup. I’ve tried many serums before, but this one truly stands out for how gentle yet effective it is. I absolutely love it!

As someone who loves lactic acid, vitamin C, and a good healthy glow, this serum is right up my alley. It’s formulated with 5% Lactic Acid to gently exfoliate dull, dead skin cells, helping other actives sink in better. Hyaluronic Acid provides that signature Moisture Surge hydration, infusing the skin with plumping moisture, while Vitamin C acts as a powerful antioxidant to help brighten the complexion over time. The serum comes in a sleek dropper bottle and has a milky texture with the faintest pink tint. It contains mica and oxides, which give an instant cosmetic glow, perfect for days when you want that fresh, dewy finish right away. I’ve been using it under makeup with no issues at all - no pilling, and it layers beautifully with other products. On lazy days, I even mix a few drops into my foundation for a radiant boost. The form of Vitamin C used here is Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP), a gentler derivative that’s less likely to cause irritation. The 5% Lactic Acid concentration is on the milder side, which works well for my skin and shouldn’t cause sensitivity for most people. So far, I’ve been loving the instant glow and hydration this serum gives, and I’m looking forward to seeing the longer-term brightening and skin-smoothing effects as I keep using it.

Though it’s a bit pricey, the quality and lasting hydration make it worth it for those who want a fresh, glowing look.

The formula is beautifully refreshingly light perfect to use right after cleansing as part of my evening routine. The inbuilt dropper easily dispenses 1-2 doses sufficient enough to cover my entire face & neck. The serum quickly absorbs into the skin & felt dry to touch so allowed me to immediately apply my night moisturiser straight away. This is my first time trialling a product from Clinque range as part of Best in Beauty Marketplace event. My face feels amazingly softer, smoother & more supple and hoping with time minimise signs of lines & wrinkles.

Plump & Glowing Skin

I received the Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum as part of the Best in Beauty 2025 Discovery Bag. This is my first experience with a Clinique product, and I now know what all the hype is about. It really is a beautiful serum. It has a milky consistency with very little fragrance and comes in a 30ml glass bottle with a dropper. It spreads easily over my skin and absorbs quickly. I notice a difference in the plumpness of my skin from the very first application and it gave my skin a really nice dewy glow. I can suffer from sensitive skin sometimes, so I was a little worried about how it was going to react but to my surprise I didn’t experience any irritation at all.

Lightweight, hydrating serum

Being familiar with the other products in the mositure surge collection, I was please to get to trial he serum, which is a perfect for the hot and humid climate I am in now. The product comes in a dropper bottle and the packaging is reminiscent of the Clinique brand. The serum itself is a milky looking, lightweight serum, which absorbs easily into the skin and can be layered under creams and makeup. It contains lactic acid, which helps to turnover you skin cells, leaving you with glowing skin. The hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin and the vitamin C brightens the complexion. The results are instant, as the skin is visibly healthier looking immediately after use. Continued use, only helps to improve the skin texture and appearance. In line with the brand, the product is allergy tested and safe for sensitive skin.

Lightly Exfoliates while Hydrating

Received the Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum to trial in the Best in Beauty 2025 Discovery Bag. Serum comes is a lovely pink glass jar with a white and silver screw cap dropper and packaged in the unmistakeable Clinique green/silver box. Applied after cleansing morning and night, the dropper makes it easy to dispense the 3 drops required to start with. Lightweight white serum spreads easily over the face and down the neck. Refreshing, fragrance free and readily absorbs allowing you to apply your night moisturiser. And for the morning application it layers well under my moisturiser and makeup. Only been using it for a week but have notice an improvement in my skin which looks and feels more hydrated and I’ve had no skin irritation. Great idea to have a serum that exfoliates, hydrates and brightens the skin. I have in the past used Clinique’s Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator but had no idea there was a ‘moisture surge’ range of products including this one and I’m thankful to beautyheaven for introducing me to this great product!

Leaves my skin glowing, soft and smooth

The Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum comes packaged in classic Clinique packaging and has a dropper applicator which makes using it a whole lot easier. This serum is interesting, because it does a number of things at once! It hydrates the skin, it gently exfoliates to smooth the skin, and it helps brighten your skin with a beautiful glow. The serum disperses as a light white/slightly pink shade and has a slight fragrance to it that I found pleasing to use. I only needed a few drops to cover my face and neck. I really enjoyed using this serum – it feels luxurious, it settles into my skin nicely and absorbs in well. With regular use, I noticed my skin was looking brighter and healthier. It definitely adds a beautiful glow to the skin, and I like that I can use it morning and night. The other great thing about this serum is that it wears so nicely under makeup – no pilling or greasiness, and while it’s a hydrating serum, it’s not oily whatsoever. Whenever I use it, my skin feels so soft and smooth. I’ll continue using the product, and I think this might be one to repurchase based on how much my skin seems to be loving it.

freshen and brightens skin

I received this product from Beauty Heaven’s Best in Beauty trial box so was interested as I use the Clinique Moisturising Lotion. Firstly, I wasn’t completely sure on whether this was to be used in the morning or night as the only English instructions on the box were Allergy Tested, 100% fragrance free, Dermatologist tested. Use as directed. If irritation occurs, limit frequency of use and if it persists discontinue use and consult a physician. Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using and the week after. Avoid eye area. I had to go and google on direction of use from the Clinique site. The suggestion from Clinique site is to use morning and night but because I am trialing another nighttime moisturiser, I have opted to just use in the morning. The glass bottle of 30mls has a dropper which makes it much easier to apply to skin. The lotion inside is like a milky serum but it is so lightweight when applied to your skin. It absolutely absorbed into my dry skin straight away. No tackiness or greasy feeling at all. They suggest starting with just 3 drops, I found 4 worked for me better and they are only small drops so sufficiently did my whole face and neck with ease. I didn’t realise that I am exfoliating and hydrating my skin at the same time. I’ve only been using this serum for 6 days, but I could see a huge difference at the end of the day as the texture of my skin looked brighter and skin felt so fresh. Very hydrated as well. Skin was glowing. With ingredients of Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and lactic acid and being 100% fragrance free this serum worked great on my skin. My skin would look dull, and this serum has certainly brightened it up. I am loving this serum, and it works well with their Moisturising Lotion. With my beauty routine, I use a different brand of toner, two different serums, another brand of eye cream and moisturising lotion and they all work together with no pilling. I am loving this Clinique serum as it works well on my skin, and I can feel so fresh and brighter. Thank you Beauty Heaven for sending me this serum to trial.
