Thank you to Beautyheaven for letting me try this product for the 2025 Best in Beauty Awards. Though pricey, I've been an avid Clinique Moisture Surge fan for years, having used their cream. The Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum is a welcome addition to my everyday routine to keep my skin moisturised and hydrated. It claims to gently exfoliate dead skin cells, but I don't feel any exfoliation, so I am unsure about that claim. Perhaps time will tell. It is a water-based serum, and a little goes a long way.

Glowing with a boost of moisture

100% fragrance free the Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum has given me a boost of moisture which my skin has needed. Milky white in colour With added AHA’s it encourages natural cell turnover (exfoliation) revealing fresh and smoother skin while hydrating and brightening thanks to hyaluronic acid and vit c. I’ve used this morning and night I use approximately 3 drops on my skin which works perfectly under my moisturiser and makeup in the day absorbing right in. I’ve loved adding this moisture boosting serum to my daily skincare routine.

Beautiful Glow

The drop serum format is very easy to use and allows precise control over the amount of product applied. The ingredients are cult favourites of mine, including hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and lactic acid for hydration, brightness and gentle exfoliation. Clinique continues to be a very popular brand in Australia, trusted for effective and gentle skincare. The lightweight formula absorbs quickly, leaving skin smooth, refreshed, and radiant. The bottle is so beautiful, I love the pink tone and it looks great on my vanity.

Moisture Surge Serum

Never used a active glow serum before so I was pleased to try the Clinique Moisture Surge active glow serum. I like that it is allergy tested and 100% fragrance free. I love the container it comes in with the dropper making it easy to get out what you need. I started applying the serum every day. I found you didnt need to use. I normally cleansed my face first then applied the serum. I found I didnt have to use much and my skin absorbed the serum very quickly. I have found my skin looks alot better and brighter

Super impressed!

Where has this been all my life?! I had seen the Clinique moisture surge range before but I hadn’t been aware that they do an active glow serum. Fortunately BeautyHeaven sent me this product as part of the trial team to try for myself and I must say I will definitely be continuing to use this when I have finished this bottle! This multipurpose product I am so impressed with. The fact that it gently exfoliates and moisturises at the same time in a milky formula and is gentle enough to be used twice a day is very versatile. I found with consistent use using morning at night, my skin had a lovely glow, was gently exfoliated and moisturised at the same time. This really does do more than one thing for the skin and I loved it. This is like using one product instead of three and I’m so grateful I got to try it.This will be a staple in my skincare routine from now on!

What a glowing product

The Clinique Moisture Surge™ Active Glow Serum is really a product that deserves praise. The product gives instant hydration to your skin, a stunning radiant glow also while improving your skins texture. I found the product really light weight, that my skin absorbed really quickly after application. With Key ingredients of lactic acid, hyaluronic acid and vitamin c. I know after use of a couple of weeks I would find greater results. It is great for all skin types. I love it is fragrant free and yes, you will find a slight tingle due to the lactic acid in the product.

Glow Serum

Thank you Beauty Heaven for allowing me to trial this serum as part of the Best in Beauty 2025 awards. I loved getting to trial the Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum! It comes in a very luxe, pink glass bottle with dropper for easily applying the correct dosage. Strangely it does not come with any instructions despite the packaging directing you to follow the directions? I've been using this serum morning and night. The serum is lightweight and leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. I like that it is silky without being sticky. This serum has a newfound place in my skincare routine.

Gentle

My only complaint about this product is the packaging. So many different languages and nothing about how to use it even though the packaging says ‘Use As Directed’. I had to go to the Clinique website for more information. The product claims an instant glow. I can’t say that’s happened to me. Safe on sensitive skin. I can vouch for that. My skin didn’t break out when it normally does why starting a new product. Exfoliates. Yes I can feel a very gentle exfoliation without irritation. I used 3 drops as per directions morning and night. When going out into the sun it is recommended that you wear a SPF cream. I do this everyday anyway so that wasn’t a problem. At time of writing this product was Made in UK

Lightweight and Hydrating

I recently received this product in the 2025 Best in Beauty event to try out and was really impressed. The texture of this product is very light weight and blended really into my skin. I also noticed the product absorbed really nicely into my skin too - without any heavy residue. After a week of using twice a day (morning and night), I noticed notably more hydrated skin. I really loved that I was able to also blend this product in with my usual moisturiser and it applied onto my skin very seamlessly with no issues.

My new Holy Grail

I was not expecting to fall in love with this serum. As someone with highly dehydrated skin, I have tried so many different serums and find that they always seem to be tacky or gooey or they just sit on my skin. But I was so impressed to try Clinique's moisture surge active glow serum as part of the Best in Beauty event. I have tried Clinique's eye cream and Moisture Surge Face Cream, but this was a great opportunity to trial the Serum. My skin just drank up this serum, and I feel my skin condition definitely brightened up. I use two pumps for my face and declotage, and this felt so hydrated on contact. I will purchase this again.

Moisture Surge Serum

Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum is helping to my skin to look brighter and feel more hydrated. My skin rapidly absorbs the light, milky texture and there is no stickiness. The lactic acid gently exfoliates my skin without irritation. I was little concerned that the vitamin C might irritate my skin but it hasn't been an issue. I appreciate that the serum is fragrance-free and it doesn't leave a lingering smell on my pillow. After a few days of using this product my skin looks softer, it feels smoother and it looks more radiant. I'm not sure if I would purchase this product but after using it I can see that my skin benefits from the regular use of a serum.

CLINIQUE moisture surge active serum. Thank you to Beautyheaven for sending me products from Best in Beauty/ Discover bag 2025. I am always super grateful. I wasn't able to attend the event in Sydney this year, because of family commitments, so I was super excited to receive this beautiful CLINIQUE Serum to trial. This is presented in the iconic CLINIQUE box, easily recognised at most beauty counters and high end stores. I love that this is fragrance free and Dermalogically tested. I always prefer that in my skincare whenever possible. The box is fully recyclable. The glass bottle is also recyclable. Let me describe this gorgeous bottle, it is made from a lovely light, milky, pink coloured glass and has a dropper style applicator. It looks extremely high end and expensive. The serum itself is a milky white colour, and it is easy to dispense, a small amount and to then smooth onto the face and neck area. It is advisable to keep away from the eyes. Sunscreen should always be used while using this. My skin loves this, I didn't have any problems or adverse effects while using. My skin type is normal aged skin, with wrinkles, and in need of brightening up. I look forward to using this more in the coming months to see if my skin improves. I am hoping to experience the "active glow". So far though, I love how it feels on my skin. It is designed for all skin types. If you can afford this,go ahead and buy it, we all deserve some luxury.
