Gritty and Greasy

I’m sure it probably works, but I’ll be looking for something different. It’s somehow gritty and greasy at the same time, and pills badly under makeup and sunscreen. The ‘spheres’ of vitamin C never burst, and there was just chunks of product left behind in a greasy film that never sank into the skin. I read online to add a few drops of water, which did help with the grittiness, but I really shouldn’t have to alter a product to get it on my face, and even then it’s a verifiable grease bomb. It’s just a super inelegant formula, which is sad, considering most TO products are a win for me. I would definitely try an actual vitamin C serum if it was offered, but this was a major disappointment for me. At least it wasn’t expensive?

Not my favourite

As much as i like other Ordinary products, this one is not one of them. The texture feels like a super fine gritty powder suspended in squalane. I don’t like the oily/greasy feeling of squalane and the gritty particles hurt when applying it onto the skin, they don’t dissolve nor are absorbed.. As much as I like using ascorbic acid, this formulation isn’t for me.

It works, but not happy with the sand/grain feel

I've been using this for 2 months consistently. I have noticed a reduction/fade on my acne scars. I rated a 3 due to packaging and product consistency. It's grainy on the skin. As it dries, it leaves a white sandy grain residue on my face. I will be swapping to serum these next months and hope it works the same. During travel, the top snapped open (not the cap). Product spilled all inside my travel pouch.

Not really a fan of the texture, it's grainy. Although I try to apply it very gently It always gives me a rush afterwards.

Vitamin c serum felt off

Not sure why the vitamin c suspension serum felt grainy and sandy to the face. Made my face look reddish as if sun burned. Didn’t feel like it was absorbed into my skin, just felt very chalky

First review!

Okay, I JUST bought this today, May 30th, 2025. So this will be a multi-part review, with updates every couple of weeks. First impression: Sandpaper texture, funky smell. Legit feels like what I'd imagine if I just crushed up a bunch of vitamin C pills and added some thin lotion. Smells like what a protein bar tastes like. Lol. That said! I didn't experience any irritation at all, and I gave it a bit to sink in and the sandpapery texture went away. Looking forward to seeing if it helps with the melasma on my forehead. I've heard that it might be able to!

This product is very aggressive

I used Vitamin C and had a horrible allergy, I ended up in the emergency room. I've been taking medication and applying product to my skin for a week to heal the inflammation caused by this product.

please make a larger size <3

This has quickly become one of my favorite products of yours. I absolutely love putting it on in the morning. Please consider making a larger size <3 37F White

Do Not Buy this product. Avoid at all cost

I bought this product, and I'm sorry I did. It's probably the worst skincare product I've ever purchased. The texture is oily and grainy. Additionally, it stings when you put it on. I"'ve used multiple other vitamin C products and it's never stung. This is not a good product

this is just not it

Unfortunately I am very unhappy with this product. There is a slight burning sensation which I don't mind too much, as I know the skin needs to get used to Vitamin C. However the consistency is just not it. It feels like rubbing your face with oily sand, the skin is not taking the product up and is left with an oily film all day. I tried mixing with a moisturizer but that actually made things worse as the product now peels off and can't be distributed properly. Same thing when using other products afterwards, e.g. sunscreen. Reading the reviews this is apparently not only a problem with this batch but with the formulation itself. I urgently recommend to improve here. I was so happy finding this product as I was looking for a product with pure ascorbic acid for a while. Bummer.
