My new MUST HAVE

I have tried a lot of very expensive powder foundations and setting powders. This is the BEST I've ever used. The powder is very, very fine....BUT....gives me a soft, natural coverage all by itself. The matte finish is a perfectly soft look.

Beautiful lightweight powder

So airy & light, you don't feel it on your skin. Gives a beautiful finish. Look with a magnifier & you can see miniscule sparkles. This packaging is also SO pretty!

Light and smooth

Bought this one five months ago. Still left a lot. As I have dry skin but doesn’t give any dryness look.

Great at setting light reflecting foundation, only need a little to set foundation.

it's nice and works great. I just prefer a matte setting powder to one with mica in it. personal choice.

Not what i hoped for...

I did not read the reviews first. Bummer. It bothers me more that by the end of the day it had balled up in little splotches all over my face. It is very fine, maybe I used too much?

Yes better than MUFE HD!

I had been going back & forth on whether to commit to MUFE HD powder or this 1 & they have always been compared & competition between them. Ultimately I decided on Nars given 1. My skin tone is tan/medium & MUFE isn’t “translucent” it’s “white” Nars is truly translucent. 2. MUFE changed the “tone” of my foundation where as Nars did not. 3. MUFE was a tad bit more blurring but it changed my foundation, so the more blur wasn’t an improvement. 4. The blurring with Nars was just as impressive while keeping my foundation tone in tact. 5. The “radiant” description was throwing me off with Nars cause it’s not really radiant, it leaves a “natural” finish but I don’t get a glow or anything but maybe it has to do with the foundation as I use natural to matte foundations & I don’t want a “glow” from my setting powder. 6. Lastly price, both I feel are too expensive but MUFE more so & I don’t see the justification for it. So between the 2, Nars won however Chanel will always be my HG but the package is so big that I needed a powder with a smaller container to travel with.

Yes to the powder

I love this powder because of how well it sets my makeup. I use a big fluffy brush and very lightly dust a thin layer where I don't want shine, which is usually my tzone and chin. I don't think you should try to "bake" with this. It's very mattifying, you only need a tiny bit. that's probably why they packaged it with a fabric sieve, so we don't dip the brush directly in the powder. a little goes a long way. I think it does magic blurring pores and smoothing the look of foundation. It lasts forever until I take it off.

I wish the old version still existed!

I absolutely loved the loose powder that NARS had years ago! It was the best powder ever! I am just realizing now that they don't have the same loose powder that they used to have. I cannot comment on how this works because I have not used it. But I am so disappointed to find that the loose powder of the past no longer exists. I suppose I'll have to give the new version a whirl to see if the texture and finish is the same. But I feel like the range of colors is so limited now. I feel like it used to have an extensive range. And the finish was amazing. My clients would look at themselves and every flaw was blurred. I'll report back after I try the current version.
