Not my favourite unfortunately

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The good: The packaging is absolutely stunning—premium, thoughtful, and gift-worthy. It set my expectations high. The not-so-good: The scent itself just isn’t for me. It leans very “perfumy”—heavy, a bit powdery, and more classic/fragrant-counter vibes than I prefer. I’m into sweeter, softer, more floral profiles, and this goes in the opposite direction. On my skin it felt overpowering, and the dry-down didn’t mellow into anything I enjoyed. Longevity & sillage: Strong on both, which would be a plus if you like the fragrance DNA—but it made it harder for me to ignore that it wasn’t my style. Who might like it: If you gravitate toward bold, traditionally “perfumy” scents with a pronounced presence, this could work. If you prefer sweet-ish florals (like I do), I’d skip it.

Warm woody fragrance

A new warm woody fragrance by Jean Paul Gaultier, top notes of plum, cinnamon and cardamom. Base note of tonka bean, benzoin and patchouli. Longevity was great, lasted around 6-8 hours. Sillage is quite strong.

Le Male Elixir Absolu is bold, warm, and seductive—perfect for cold nights with notes of lavender, tonka, and vanilla great price, attractive packaging.

Party fragrance

Groundbreaking mass appealing compliment magnet fragrance. On the stronger side in the opening and very, very sweet overall (might not be for you, will be a deal breaker for some). Lasts a long while and projects above average. A go-to party scent of mine for sure. There are plenty of fragrances that fit the same situations as this one, especially with the way the market is trending, but I still think this stands out with strong performance and a bold, attention-grabbing scent. As a reviewer said below, this is a mass appealing fragrance done right. This one deserves all the hype.
