Make it great again

New Formula, a big disappointment. Used to love the texture, smell and the vibrant feel my face use to feel every time I used the old facial wash. I feel the lighter texture the new formula does not give me the same sensation of cleanliness and vibrancy the old formula used to give my face. I also feel like I’m needing to use more to get half the result, which I guess you guys love more cause we will end up using more and spending more(corporate greed at its best). Used to be a great product destroyed in the pretence of being environmentally friendly. Will need to search for a new face wash, unless the old formula comes back. Moisturiser still decent but that also doesn’t feel the same. Stop ruining a great product line.

Not the same!

I agree the new formula is a weak Imitation of the original. Now you have to use 2-3x more product for the same amount of lather. At first, I thought it was my imagination, but it appears others have had the same experience.

New Formula is Watered Down

New Formula is the watered down versionj of the old one.

Watered down - not the same as it used to be.

It's watered down compared to how it used to be. Major disappointment, Kiehls. Don't buy it... And now of course, I'm going to start receiving a relentless stream of marketing emails...

Change it back or lose me

This new formula is junk. You can't trick us, i have been buying this for over 10 years. Change it back or lose this customer.

Love this face wash!!!

Great face wash for me…foams beautifully, leaving my skin looking and feeling energized for the day ahead. Love this product!! Smells great too, not too girly.

The formula has changed for the worse.

The previous formula had a minty, clean scent, lubricated and lathered well. The new formula loses the scent, feels watered down and does not lather anymore. I will no longer be purchasing this product.

Il Kiehl’s Facial Fuel è diventato un passaggio irrinunciabile della mia routine quotidiana perché regala una sferzata di energia istantanea. Lo uso mattina e sera e trovo che la combinazione di caffeina e mentolo sia perfetta per svegliare la pelle e lasciarla freschissima senza mai seccarla. È un detergente efficace che pulisce in profondità e prepara benissimo il viso alla rasatura o alla crema idratante, con un profumo agrumato che dà subito una sensazione di pulito e ricarica. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca un prodotto pratico, fresco e capace di cancellare i segni della stanchezza con un solo gesto.

New formulation is not good

I'm a longtime user of this product and have to agree with other commenters that the new formulation just isn't as good. I can get over the fact that it doesn't lather as much, but the chemically smell is intolerable. I hope you'll keep refining the formulation.

Please change it back!

Long time customer and so disappointed with the new facial fuel face wash formula. Watery and not as effective as others have mentioned. This has been my go to for a long time. Can’t recommend, not even close to the original for me.
