Precision in a Pencil

It would be hard to get raccoon eyes with this size. Aside from the price point, I highly recommend this liner for anyone who loves a precise thin line, especially for that on fleek wing game. It can dry a bit quickly so you have to work fast if you are still perfecting your technique. I would actually recommend this for beginners because the formula is forgiving enough for steady hands and the size gives great control. You also will not need a lot because a little goes a long way. My only pet peeve is how little product there is inside.

Great color but runs out too fast

Great color, fine line, goes on well and lasts long on my lids, however this product runs out really fast. This has to be replaced much more frequently… my other liners last for months, but this runs out really fast.

The product itself is fine, but the design is flawed. The pencil only retracts one way. If you put the cap on, it breaks. If you leave it uncovered, it dries out and breaks. Very disappointing.

does not smudge

I like a true tightline. like blended into my lashline rather than my waterline, as a lot of people call tightlining these days. I was using a tiny brush and normal gel pencil before and it always smudged and ended up running down my face. this is easier to use and doesn't move once it sets. wears really well on the lower lashline too. I just hate that it costs so much for so little product

I am obsessed with it! Such a great product. Annoyingly expensive for how much of it you are actually getting, but I haven’t found an equally great match to this product.

The product itself is amazing, but it lasted me less than a month. There’s not much product in there.

One of the best eyeliners!

I LOVE this eyeliner! It’s super creamy and creates such a perfect thin line. It’s more of a dark brown, but a beautiful color. It stays on all day, I haven’t had any problems with it breaking. Will be repurchasing when I run out.

Great color, doesn't run, but doesn't last all day

I like that it goes on smoothly with a dark clear line. I also appreciate that although it seems to fade from my waterline, it doesn't run down my face.

Not soft enough for looser eyelids

I love Hourglass products, so I was excited to try this eyeliner, but was quite disappointing. Not bc it isn’t a great product - however, bc it does not apply like a soft gel on middle aged eyelids! When I have an enormous amount of patience and time, I will use this product and blend/smooth it out with a dark brown eye shadow (this is required bc it looks so janky if I don't). It looks great and stays on SO well.. but I don't always use this product bc of the time it takes so long to get it right. For now, I have gone back to my trusty liquid liner.
