Good but not the best out there

The best detox shampoo! I use it 2-3 days a week after being in the ocean and it makes my hair and scalp feel so clean and weightless. This has been a staple for several years and I have yet to find a better detox shampoo.

Where “detox” effect is?

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This one didn’t quite live up to expectations. Or perhaps…we simply didn’t understand each other. Visually, it’s beautiful- the semi-transparent bottle, the color of the shampoo inside. Matte, minimal, very pleasing to hold. Although the lack of a pump does require a bit more commitment than expected. The scent is easily one of its strongest points: floral, slightly herbal-exactly what you want in a shower routine. It lathers well, distributes effortlessly, and doesn’t leave the hair tangled. Rinses out just as easily. But when it comes to the “detox” part…this is where we part ways. For me, detox means that unmistakable clean, almost squeaky feeling- and this one stays firmly on the gentle side. It cleans, yes. Softly, politely. But the wow-factor never quite arrived. Let’s just say-there are other options I’d reach for first. Verdict: not a repurchase.

I’ve used it a couple of times now and it is honestly one of the best clarifying shampoos. It smells amazing, my hair feels so clean after. It does a great job removing build up oil and other stuff. My scalp feels refreshed after using it and my hair looks shiny and has more volume.

Perfect for resets!

Make sure to loosen it up in between your hands before putting in your hair so you don’t waste product, because it will go farther when you loosen it up. It smells amazing and I love how clean it makes my hair feel! It lathers so nice as well!

Hydrating shampoo

Ouai detox shampoo is a shampoo everyone needs. I love the smell of this one. It suds up very well on the hair. This product works well especially with the repair balm.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is such an amazing detox shampoo from OUAI. I was dealing with an itchy, dry scalp due to winter; but this detox shampoo helped clean and clear my scalp extremely well and quickly. It has a wonderful lather to it. It has apple cider vinegar and you’d never know because it smells like roses! My scalp really took a big liking to this detox shampoo. I use it twice a week, mainly after my oil scalp treatment days. It works!

Fresh, Clean, and Lightweight

It removes buildup really well, especially after using styling products, and leaves my scalp feeling super & clean and refreshed. The texture lathers nicely, and a small amount goes a long way. After washing, my hair feels lighter, softer, and has more volume at the roots. The scent is fresh and slightly luxurious, not too strong but noticeable. I wouldn't use it every day since it's more of a deep-clean shampoo, but a few times a week works perfectly to keep my hair feeling clean and balanced.
