After wearing this a few times, I can say it’s incredibly long-lasting with a heavy projection. The bottle itself is sleek and smooth with a magnetic cap, which feels really premium. The atomizer performs beautifully giving a satisfying spray. When you first spray it, you get a strong leather note, but as it settles, a creamy vanilla starts to come through. There’s also a subtle liquor note that becomes easier to notice the longer you wear it. The dry down is where this fragrance truly shines, with all the notes blending beautifully. Overall, this is an amazing fragrance that I’d definitely reach for when going to a formal event.

Armany Code Elixir is a wonderful fragrance that brings a burst of leather and smoky notes. It’s a very masculine scent that feels dry but also refreshing. It’s dark, classy, and appealing. It’s not too strong, even though the elixir category suggests an intense and durable smell once it’s on you. That said, it could last a bit more or require fewer splashes. I would also say that it has a side of wood that is serious, strong, and mysterious. The fragrance is not sweet at all, but rather the opposite. It’s the first leather-scented perfume I own, and little by little, it has become my favorite choice. I also perceive some subtle spices that add a nice depth and personality to it.

Generic manly scent

A standard masculine scent — not unpleasant, but far from unique. Mainly I get leather and a generic “manly” base; the rest of the notes are hard to distinguish. It comes off rather synthetic — I would’ve preferred a more natural, nuanced composition. Projection and longevity are noticeable, so if you like this style, you’ll get good performance. Still, it’s not exactly versatile — hard to imagine many occasions where it really fits. For what it is, I feel the price should be lower.

Packaging is awesome and comes in a small size so not bulky at all. Price is decent however on par with entry level luxury Fragrances. The scent is not extremely versatile and is extremely strong with medium projection. The scent is a dark rich leathery scent with slight citrus. If you like dark, rich leathery fragrances this is for you.

Very niche

This is a very deep scent that might not impress everybody. Reminds me of leather and vanilla. Very nice but long lasting. Good for a weekend out.

Deceptively Decent

Code Elixir is a difficult one to gauge. It begins with, to my sense, a strong and displeasing leather that smells like the back of a New York taxi. However, after an hour or so it settles into a mildly pleasing vanilla tonka that has a decent strength and a soft leather that isn’t as overwhelming as its opening. It lasts around 9 hours on my skin and projects well once it settles into that sweet dry down. Consider applying this fragrance an hour before a date night or professional setting. Finally, the bottle is simplistic but gives the impression of luxury, giving it a good showing to display.
