My New Leather-Driven Obsession

Armani Code Elixir feels like the grown-up in the Code family—rich, smooth, and confidently bold without yelling. On skin, it opens with a touch of green mandarin before sliding into a plush leather and warm, “grilled” tonka core that reads seductive rather than sticky-sweet. Versatility is solid: it shines for evenings, dates, and cooler weather, but it’s wearable year-round with controlled sprays. Sillage and projection lean strong—this pushes and lasts longer than many Codes on me, so 3–4 sprays is plenty. The bottle looks luxe with its blacked-out silhouette, silver plate, and a satisfyingly magnetic cap that clicks home every time. If leather gourmands are your lane, this is a no-brainer.

Yes—but for a statement scent that turns heads, it’s worth it.

Leather mixed in with some sweetness

This is good for evenings, indoor settings, or cool temperatures. The predominant note is leather but it is also mixed with some sweet vanilla and boozy notes. For fans of leather, this is fine. But it might turn off those who are not the most fond of that note. Longevity is decent around 6 hours, and it projection is about arm's length in my experience.

Giorgio Armani code elixir smells great more of a fall scent, it’s pretty strong and project good definitely will be wearing in the winter. Great

A initially harsh and synthetic scent. Much better

Armani code elixir is a more synthetic and harsh version of Tom Ford's ombre leather. If you're into leather sense this might be a maybe otherwise stay away. I do like that it's is an elixir with higher concentrations of oil/fragrance however, it only last long as a skin scent and doesn't project much after a few hours. Packaging is simple. The bottle is nice with a magnetic cap. I'm terms of value for money, it's expensive for what is it.

Great winter fragrance

This is a great winter fragrance as the leather and vanilla notes are very strong. It’s definitely too overpowering for a summer fragrance in my area. It is very strong and a little goes a long way. Definitely looking forward to getting more use out of it this winter.

Strong smoky and warm scent

This scent is a very warm smoky scent, very strong and a little overpowering leather top note. If you prefer a strong leathery scent then this would be perfect for you. Very nice sleek black bottle.

Nice Leather Fragrance

Armani Code Elixir really surprised me. I don't consider it at all the typical designer fragrance: its complexity, evolution and quality of ingredients make me think more of niche perfumery than a commercial line. At the start it is spectacular, with a very elegant and worked leather accord, which makes the difference. In the dry down, a liquorish, sweet and vanilla facet appears. It is warm, enveloping and with a gourmand touch that never becomes cloying. I think it is a great option to use at formal events, especially on cold days since it is somewhat dense and in extreme heat it could suffocate. If you are a leather lover, without a doubt, you have to have it.

Definitely a go-to!

The scent was very manly and strong. Definitely very strong and had that smokey scent to it. Good for a night out. Very fancy packaging as well. Highly recommend this for any occasion
